Sanjay Dutt to be out of jail on a month's parole again!

The PK actor will be with his family within a day or two

After December 2014, Sanjay Dutt will be out of the Yerwada jail on a 30-day parole. In June, Dutt had applied for parole citing his daughter's illness. The parole application of the actor wasokayed by the Pune divisional commissioner two days back and the actor will soon be back with his family after finishing his surety formalities. As per reports, the 30-day parole can be extended for another 60 days. If this happens, the actor will be with his family for the next three months. The actor has been serving his jail term after he was booked in the case for possession of illegal weapons as well as destruction of evidence under the Arms Act in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case.

The actor's five year sentence began in May 2013, since then, Sanjay has been out of the prison on various grounds for a total of 146 days. After Dutt surrendered in May 2013, within months he was out on furlough in October 2013, which was later extended by 14 days. Following this, in January 2014, he was granted parole for 30 days, the actor got an extension of 60 days to this. Then again last December the PK actor was out on furlough for 14 days, though the actor wanted to extend it, it did not happen after heated debates and criticism from the media.

According to Vijay Satbir Singh, principal secretary, (Home), "We have been informed that the Pune divisional commissioner has approved the parole application and Dutt will be out after completing the formalities." Dutt's lawyers had requested the home department in last week of July, requesting the instructions to the divisional commissioner within the stipulated period of 45 days of the application. According to reports, Sanjay is likely to get remission of 30 days at the end of the completion of the jail term.
