I'm feeling bad for Sonakshi: Vikramaditya Motwane on 'Lootera'

Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, whose last film "Lootera" won critics' hearts, says he feels bad for the movie's lead actress Sonakshi Sinha as she didn't bag awards.

"'Lootera' was a learning experience for me. The film had recovered its money, but it had mixed response. As far as awards are concerned, I am feeling bad for Sonakshi as her performance was outstanding and she deserved an award for it. However, the nominations were decided by the jury members," said Motwane.

"Lootera", set in the era of the 1950s with a rustic feel to it, was released last year and also featured Ranveer Singh.

Motwane is now busy with his next project "Bhavesh Joshi" and said: "We will start shooting for 'Bhavesh Joshi' from December and we haven't finalised the leading lady yet whileSidharth Malhotra will play the lead who is working really hard for the project."

I think she should have at least won one award for her acting. She is a splendid actor!! - coming from a deepika fan who bagged all the awards last year in the category of best actress

Then why you dropped her for newbie Kriti Sanon in ur next movie o_O

It's strange or what that everyone only yaps about Sonakshi not getting nomination but what about Ranveer??

I thought his performance was equally exquisite and out of his comfort zone.

You disappoint me Vikram by only siding with Sonakshi

I guess he doesn't feel that bad since it looks like he booted her out of Bhavesh Joshi for Kriti Sanon

I don think this will work though..Poor Sona was so sure she'l bag this project..Motwane needs to try harder 😆
