Tiger Shroff, 23, considers Bruce Lee his hero after his father Jackie Shroff. Quite like his mother Ayesha, he is sensitive, diplomatic and a fitness freak. Unlike his dad, who is a vegetarian and a people's person, he enjoys his non-vegetarian food and likes to be by himself, thinking and venting his emotions alone. He may not speak, talking to his father enough, but hearing him speak about him, you know without a doubt how proud he is to be his father's son. Over an hour-long conversation ahead of his debut film Heropanti, he talks to Bombay Times about the perfection of Hrithik Roshan, the brilliance of Aamir Khan and why his father is his idol. You said at your trailer launch that you have not had girlfriends. So, is your kiss to Kriti Sanon in Heropanti your first kiss in life?
No, I have never ever had any girlfriends, but I have kissed just twice before in my life. I guess I am not cool enough. I have had a lot of crushes but have never had the courage to go up to a girl and say what I feel. I am scared of rejection. I don't want to fail at anything. I work too hard to fail. As a sportsman, you have that competitive drive and want to win and be the best. I really want my parents to be proud of me once Heropanti comes out and I am going to make sure that they are proud of me.
