Nopes! Nada! Never!

The jail term is only 3.5 years. Plus, its not like he won't be able to make movies after he gets done with it...he won't even be 60 years old then. And take AB Sr. for instance, he is 70 and still kicking and doing roles in movies.
Additionally, its not like they are gonna make it miserable for him in jail...I'm sure he'll be getting some special cell to live in with accommodations and what not. Having so much support from influential political leaders would get him granted at least this much.
Lastly, its not like the movies or Bwood are in dire need of him...he ain't even playing hero anymore. Others can also do the side characters that he is currently doing...so there won't be much loss to the industry...I'm sure ppl can bare with not seeing him onscreen for another 3 years.

End of Story!

Those asking for his pardon - please read this article. He has already been let off - the driver who brought guns to his house got 10 years where as SAnju who kep the guns at his home as well as tried to destroy them is given only 5 years and has been on bail unlike others. If he is set free , we might as well free all the accused in 1993 blasts.

He has suffered way too long for this. 20 years of mental torture is a bigger punishment than 5 years of jail. On top of that, he's spent one and half years in prison too.

The point is: the masterminds and terrorists behind the attacks are smoking cigars comfortably in Karachi and Dubai, while a person in Sanjay Dutt and random rikshaw-wallas have been jailed!

Justice, eh?

And your point is? Its the LAW. Mental torture, no matter how ruthless, isn't an equivalent for legal incrimination.

NOPE.
I can never understand the "He already suffered for 20yrs" defense. How??😕 By living in a posh Pali Hill bungalow with dozen staffs at disposal? or by marrying twice while out on bail? or by doing 2-3 films every yr to kill time? or by living to choose between a Ferrari and a Lexus? or by joining politics even after being a convict?? JEEZ!! Put him in jail already!!! 😡😡
