Justice Katju is saying tat govt. should Pardon Sanjay Dutt. because he promoted Gandhigiri so i think Katju law ko kaaju samajh rahe hain.

Jaya Bachchan or any film industry person will be supporting him because they've known him personally. They are bound to feel for him. All they can do is feel sorry for him and help his family in such time.

But they should respect the decision and shouldn't say things like "he doesn't deserve this". Whatever Sanjay Dutt deserves or not was for the courts to decide. Period.

Also, there are telephonic conversations of him with Dawood Ibrahim released by Mumbai Police. He was involved in this case... to what extent, can be debated but there are too many evidences to be over looked.

The true meaning of suffering is only defined by the average indian janta who runs fro pillar to post to get justice delivered aand half them denied for reasons we all know .

I will repeat what I said in another thread,

No, I don't think people should feel sorry for him. Just because he is a Bollywood 'celebrity' he should not be pardoned. He was in possession of illegal firearms. Anything illegal obviously needs to be tried in court and then punished. WHY it took another 20 years for this case to come out again we will never know, but he should serve the time.

I can't believe these so called Bollywood big wigs who make films on equality men/women etc etc. ALARMING. If it was an ordinary person who was in possession of these illegal firearms then I'm pretty sure they would have been punished much worse then this. I can't believe the parliament is being brought into this now too. If decisions like this to pardon Dutt are taken at parliament then whats the whole point of a justice system anyway. Absolutely pathetic Bollywood people, another reason to increase my dislike for these over hyped people who don't give a shit about ordinary people.

What is worse is the amount of people on IF who are taking the television celebrity route and trying to be politically correct and giving "no comments" whatsoever on this topic and agreeing with their favourite stars. WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. You cannot arse lick your favourite celebrity all the time, even they say things only because they don't want to tarnish their image. They are of the same breed as these silly Bollywood celebrities. Also, those people that support these people just because they are fans of that person, just because you're a fan of someone doesn't mean you HAVE to like each and every bit about them. People supporting shit like Sanjay Dutt and his activities are beyond me.
