i hope neither Ian or Matt do that role. I tried reading that book but i just couldn't make my self finish that awfully written garbage. And Ana was just TSTL (too stupid to live)
Oh come Emran. You have to just play that character not to imply in your real life. Go for it Emran
It's up to him at the end of the day.. If he doesn't want to do a gay role so be it. I personally respect him for sticking to his decision.
Regarding Gay comedy, that's all KJo turns to these days if he wants comedy in his movies. Gay people. I mean the first time in Kal ho na ho, (the whole Kanta ben thing) was actually funny. The second time in Dostana, considering it was part of the plot, it did crack me up. But SOTY as well?? You won't even be getting a dry laugh out of me there mate! All it did was just make me roll my eyes and fast forward those scenes! The saving grace of the gay angle in SOTY was Ronit Roy's character. I liked the fact that he is a happily married man, but still remains best friends with a gay man who has a crush on him. Goes to show that straight men can be good friends with gay men. Too many straight men act all weird around gay people as if they will be raped or something.
He has a family, he is a Father nd he lives in country like INDIA!
