Angry Sanjay Dutt delays shoot

While the gangster flick Zilla Ghaziabad by Anand Kumar is being readied for release, apparently, all is not well between actor Sanjay Dutt and the movie's producers. TOI had earlier reported that an action sequence and a couple of scenes had been added to Dutt's role, which he was supposed to shoot after returning from the Patiala shoot of the film Son Of Sardaar.

But that never happened. First he completed Department, in time for its May release, and then Dutt's dates were committed to Soham Shah's tentatively-titled Sher. In the meanwhile, our source says that the 10 odd days' shoot left for Anand's film was called off after an angry Dutt refused to give dates.

Explains our source, "Given Sanju's schedule and his dates, which were co-ordinated to match the other actors' dates, the additional part of Zilla Ghaziabad was getting delayed. That's when people from producer Vinod Bachchan's office contacted the actor for his dates. Apparently, the call resulted in a heated conversation, which was enough to anger Dutt to tell them off. In no uncertain terms, he made it clear he wouldn't give them any more dates to shoot and they could make do with whatever they've shot as per the script."

We hear that the additional scenes have now been dropped and the movie is being completed with whatever they've shot earlier since the team wants to release the film in December.
