Not only Anupama, Anuj is also a loser

This show has seen 2 of the biggest losers as the leads. Not just Anupama, I feel that Anuj is also a loser. When Gaurav Khanna entered the show as "Anuj Kapadia", people were hoping to see Anupama's journey from a simple house wife to becoming something (Of course after completing her education), but the fans were disappointed.

Now discussing about the 2 losers as the leads.

Anupama : Vanraj and his mother Leela deserve to be blamed for the failure of her 1st wedding. Vanraj had always felt that Anupama was not upto his standards. Anupama was fired from her teacher's job which she had got via a reference. After divorce, Anupama was seen living with her toxic ex husband and his current wife under the same roof. This gave a chance for Rakhi ji to taunt Anupama. In reality, any woman who has divorced her husband will not live with him and his current wife under the same roof. Anupama should have rejected to stay in the Shah house when Hasmukh splits the Shah House and gives a portion to Anupama for living. She had lost her self respect by cooking in the "Phatichar Leela Cafe". Vanraj should have got a decent job rather than working in the "Phatichar Leela Cafe". And the worst part is that "Phatichar Leela Cafe" and "Anupama Dance Academy" were close to each other. She had never stood up for her rights and allowed the Shah House to treat her as a maid and a slave. She had turned old Kinjal to "Anupama 2.0" and had failed as a mother of 3 kids.

Anupama herself deserves to be blamed for the failure of her 2nd wedding. Anupama handled the situation maturely when Anuj had confessed his love for Anupama in the heat of the moment (Thanks to Vanraj) by telling that she can only be a good friend to Anuj. Anupama did not hide any thing from Anuj about her life. If she did not want to cut all ties with her toxic Shah family, why did she propose to marry Anuj by dancing on the stage. She was an empowered woman after marrying Anuj and had all the resources to complete her education and build a career for herself. But Anupama was more interested in solving the never ending problems of Shah family. Anuj even gifts the KE, KM to Anupama and makes her the signing authority even though she did not deserve it. GK Kaka could have been a better choice for the signing authority of KE. Anupama should not have married Anuj if she wanted to spoon feed her grown up kids.

Anuj : Anuj meets Anupama in the College Reunion Party (Batch of 1995) after 26 long years. But the makers instead of showing a more mature friendship between Anuj and Anupama, butchered Anuj's character by showing him as a lover boy and as a husband material. Anuj had failed to prevent Malavika from going to Vanraj's trap even though he was aware of Vanraj's malicious intentions. Vanraj had tried to snatch the KE from Anuj by manipulating Malavika (Anuj's sister). Anuj had forced the Kapadia's to dance to Anupama's tunes. But Anupama did not really love Anuj. If his decision to marry Anupama was a stupid 1, even more stupid decision was adopting Aadhya (Anupama should have said NO to adoption). He should have waited for at least 1 year before adoption. If Anuj had really wanted to marry Anupama, he should have done that 26 years before, not when

01. She had divorced Vanraj.

02. She was a mother of 3 kids (Toshu and Pakhi were spoilt brats and only Samar was the decent child)

03. She was about become a grand mother to 1 (Kinjal was pregnant with Pari)

In 1 of the episode, Hasmukh goes missing and Leela holds Anuj responsible for this. Leela accuses Anuj of not giving her respect and finally Anuj loses his patience with the Shah family. Anuj decides that he would be bothered about his family and his business. Anuj had to plead with Anupama to turn her focus towards him and Aadhya. But she had failed to shed her baggage with the toxic Shah's. Anuj loses all his patience and lashes out at Anupama (On the day of car accident) for her careless attitude of "Taking her married life for granted". Instead of accepting her faults, Anupama tears her family pic and more shockingly breaks her wedding with Anuj. Anuj has suffered a lot after marrying Anupama. Anuj had to sell his KE after Anupama left him and Aadhya alone.

Anupama could not become an empowered woman after marrying Anuj. The only empowered woman in this show is Rakhi Ji (Rakhi Dave) who is my favourite character in this show. Had Anuj been the elder sibling of Kinjal, Rakhi Ji (Rakhi Dave) would have banished both him and Anupama from the "Dave Mansion" for getting married.

Rest evey point you made is ✌️✌️👌👌👌 this show should have ended when Anuj anu married. Or even adhya was back. I don't understand if every track focus has to be how mahan anupama is why cast another actor as adhya. Rupali ka hi double role dete not like it's never seen before on itv.

Well I thought Anuj came into Anupama life to empower her but the opposite happened and he ended up joining Anupama in being the Shah family’s doormat ..

The entire show instead of women empowerment and motherhood and all that it claims is rather cheap drama.

The season 1- Anupamaa a housewife with no sense of security only relied on her husband's family. Her children (Toshu, Pakhi), vanraj and baa always demeaned her. But the show mentioned but didn't care to focus that she is not illiterate or uneducated she went to junior college she just didn't get a degree. (She was 40 then)

Part 2- she dealt with cheating like any woman would but she just became a preacher no words were backed with actions. Someone may decide to keep in contact with their children and the elders but staying in the same house. The only thing changed was before Anupama stayed by right as vanraj's rightful wife now she just humiliated herself by staying there. ( She was atleast 43 by the end of this season)

Season 2- entry of Anuj. Okay they could stay friends but it's okay to fall in love at any age (though in these shows there is no age). They fell in love but what's with anupama always poking her nose in the Shah's business. And like they did in season 1 they treated her like a doormat but now an extra long doormat because Anuj was also added to it. Anuj signed away KE and KM to her then they adopted Choti Anu whose innocence was always challenged because anupama always favoured the Shah's and her own kids over that innocent little girl. Then Malti Devi came in given a chance by Anupama she then began poisoning chotis mind though she spoke the truth and twisted it for her dark agenda's. Then the car accident happened and everything went up the flames. Anupamaa chooses to be a doormat to the Shah family but can't accept her faults before Anuj she means to make Anuj her doormat. She walked out got the divorce and simultaneously destroyed three lives. She was never a mother to Choti Anu because a mother would never leave her child after a traumatic event even if the child doesn't want to see her. (She was probably 45 by then)

Season 3- 5 years leap. One thing adhya says right is Anupama destroys lives. Shruti, Anuj and aadhya may not have perfect lives but were happy. Then Anuj again became a Loverboy instead of a father. Anupama went back to being ridiculed this time by the whole world and all she did was cower behind Anuj and Mr dhillon. She and Anuj decided to be happy together but no one bothered to convince Aadhya or talk to her about it. Because who cares what children think right?! So Aadhya made an impulsively immature choice and ran away. Anuj and Anupama meet with an accident and another leap. (She is atleast 50 by then)

Part 2- 6 months leap she now stays in Asha bhavan with hasmukh again being insulted by baa everyday. The Shah's like always have their superiority complex. The children are insolent as as always. Then she brings them to Asha bhavan has her anu ki rasoi and still even after handling everything is taunted by them and keeps them that's not kindness that's idiocy. Then Aadhya a mere 13 year old girl was blamed for a fire and dolly was so confident when they called the cops. Anupama couldn't erase the trauma in aadhyas heart so when she heard that Anupama will take her to the police station she broke again and ran away. ( By this timeline Ishani, Mahi, Ansh are 5 pari is 7) Oh and Anuj is dead. ( She should be atleast 51)

Season 4- don't know years of leap bu apparently the kids have completed their education so atleast 15 years. Here now Mahi calls her AnuD while other grandkids call her AnuMa. She knows the kind of fraud Toshu is and yet gave him some control over her business. And she's back to being a doormat. Her kids hate her.

Moral of the story of Anupama

Never be kind because everyone you are good to will hate you and be jealous of you

Don't have kids because they are all going to insult and take advantage of you when they grow up.

Don't get married because all marriages even the best ones end up destroying lives.

The worst part is that almost all characters changed. Pakhi n Toshu changed twice.

Adhya never truly loved Anupama as she starts hating her without any reason. She is also a brat like Pakhi Toshu. Adhya should have shown love towards Anupama as she was adopted and given lavish life.

If Vanraj & Anuj were in the show, it would have been somewhat interesting but now the show lost all the charm.

Kavya, OMG! she abandoned her daughter for modeling career

The show has become Nonsense now and should be ended up

Anuj looked like a smart business man when he said that his team will look into the property at Ahmedabad. But the moment Anuj started interfering with the problems of Shah family, he had lost his image as a business man and started acting like a servant of the toxic Shah family. Anuj had done so many favours to the toxic Shah family but they humiliated and especially Vanraj had manhandled Anuj at the Shah House and also created ruckus at the KM when Kinjal (Who was preganant with Pari) suffers miscarriage. This incident happened after Anupama's wedding with Anuj.

Kinjal is such a disgusting daughter to Rakhi Ji. Kinjal who should have gone with her biological mother Rakhi Ji during her pregnancy. Rakhi Ji should have severed all ties with Kinjal when she eloped and married Anupama's naalayak and nikamma beta Toshu. Anuj had said to Anupama that he wants to take her out of her toxic past but Vanraj wants to take her on a guilt trip. Barkha was 100% correct.

"Jab se tum is ghar main aayi ho, tab se hum tumhari batein, tumhare rishten tumhari khushiya dekhte aaye hain. In sab main Anuj kaha hain?"

Anuj had suffered a lot by marrying Anupama. Anupama was no where near Anuj's level.

Hasmukh is the main culprit for ruining Anuj's life. He sees Anupama proposing to marry Anuj by dancing on the stage. Not just Hasmukh, Rakhi Ji's worst enemy Kinjal, Anupama's favourite son Samar and her best friend Devika shamelessly support her in her decision to marry Anuj. During the engagement of Anuj and Anupama, Hasmukh gets a heart stroke.

Anupama should not have divorced Vanraj if she wanted to live with him under the same roof along with Kavya. And if she did not want to cut ties with Leela and Hasmukh, why did she marry Anuj? Anuj should not have married Anupama

01. Who had divorced her unfaithful husband (The divorce itself was built on a rocky foundation thanks to that stupid dialogue from Anupama)

02. Who is a mother of 3 children. (Toshu and Pakhi have the toxic genes of their father. Samar is the only child who cares for his mother)

03. Who is about to become a grand mother to 1 child (Kinjal becomes pregnant with Pari)

To add to the above 3 points, Anupama adopts CA aka Aadhya (Anupama should have said NO to adoption). Any normal woman will find it tough to fulfill these many responsibilities but Anupama thinks that she is GOD and can fulfill these many responsibilities but she had failed.

Hasmukh, Devika, Kinjal and Samar should have warned Anupama of the consequences if she married Anuj.

And I agree that Anupama ruins every 1's lives.

Why should Adhya not hate the one who claimed to be mother but let the daughter be abused by the mother's ex-family, who abandoned a child without rhyme or reason and asked her to swallow insults and still be subservient to the abusers?

Even now, why does that mother want to bring the long lost daughter to the home where she will again be abused? Her ex-mother-in-law wished she never survived or was reunited, her children hate her, the ones who she raised are insecure of her arrival.

But was it not Anuj-Anupama's conscious decision to adopt? The bigger question is: Does/has Anupama love/ever loved Adhya?

Agree to every point u mentioned. The show lost its actual purpose long back still we hoped that something good might happen when Anuj returned lost and hurt in a 'baba' type look. Atleast after that their re-union should have happened.... But, No! The director takes no interest in projecting what public wants. He has his own storyline full of nonsensical arguments and demoralising each other in the show! Ab toh I have actually stopped watching Anupama!

On the day of car accident after Anupama breaks her wedding with Anuj, Devika sponsors her dream of flying to US. Anupama did not even deserve going to the US. Usually when you want to go abroad, there will be a VISA interview. Anupama did not even give the interview for VISA. She was struggling to explain her dish in the Master Chef competition. Anuj does the translation for her. And she does not even bother to talk to Devika after her belongings are stolen. Devika has not done any thing great so far apart from being a mouth piece of Anupama.

And she starts poking her nose in the lives of Anuj, Sruthi and Aadhya. Here also the makers have butchered Anuj's character. This shameless creature (Anuj) was after the favourite maid of the toxic Shah family (Anupama) forgetting that he had got engaged to Sruthi.
