Her eyes well up remembering that incident related to it that changed many things b/w her and her bhootnath.

FLASHBACK

After sneha’s birthday incident, shiva started avoiding raavi. Talking was a big thing, he didn’t even look at her properly. Raavi was trying her level best talk to him but no use.

Raavi’s POV

Maanti hu galti hui hai….par mujhe ek mauka toh de shiva khud ko explain karne ka……lad le, jhagd le..par aise chuppi mat saadh…..teri ye chuppi dil me kaante ki tarha chubhti hai…..mujhe khud nhi pta kyun….par ye tera indifference dil se bardaash nhi hota…..

Shiva’s POV

Tu galt nhi thi raavi…teri jagha koi aur ladki hoti toh yahi sochti….lekin phir bhi pata nhi kyun itna dil ko chubh raha hai ki tune mera bharosa nhi kiya…kyun….tu toh mujhe bachpan se jaanti hai na….tujhe sachme lagta hai main itna gir sakta hu apni nafrat ke liye……nafrat…nafrat karta huna usse toh kya fark padta hai ki vo kya bolti hai kya sochti hai….kyun soch raha hu main uske baare me……

It was the 7th day after sneha’s birthday. In afternoon, Raavi got ready and left for pandyastore. for last 6 days she was failing in her attempts to pacify her bhoothnath but she she didn’t gave up. She was determined to earn his forginess at any cost. She reached the store and luckily no one was there except shiva. everyday when raavi went to meet him someone or else used to be there and this was the reason she was not able to talk to him properly. May be her luck is with her today. He was setting the things in the shelves. She quietly went inside and stood just behind him. shiva turned and collided with her. Raavi misbalanced but shiva saved her from falling by holding her from her waist. Both looked at each other sharing an eyelock. First time in these seven days, both were seeing each other properly. Her eyes were asking for apology from him whereas his eyes were teary and red. Wait. Was he crying? Yes,he was. But why? Before raavi could register his look and ask him something, he corrected her, held her arm and dragged her out the store before pulling down the shutter locking himself inside. Raavi was shocked.

Ra: (to herself) shiva ro rha tha?.....par aisa kya ho gya ki shiva…..

Raavi’s heart ached remembering red teary eyes. Shiva always had been a strong person. Not just physically but emotionally too. he never let his pain come out. Then what happened that he was crying and for what? Raavi waited outside for him to open the shop again. She sat near by.

After sometime, shiva came out. Before she could approach him, he took his bike and went. Raavi took an auto and followed him.

Finally, they reached the outskirts of the city. As raavi saw shiva stopping, she too asked the driver to stop, gets down and paid the driver. She observed shiva from some distance. she saw him climbing up the tree. He sat in such a way that his back was facing her. She slowly walked up to the tree without making any kind of the noise. She silently stood beside the tree without coming to his notice. As stood there silently, she heard him speaking to himself, sniffing and sobbing.

Sh: (sobbing &sniffing)….janta hu main bahut bura hu….ek vo cheez thi jo mujhe aap se jode hue thi…vo bhi maine…..aapki jab jab yaad aayi na papa…tab tab usme aapke chupe hue aapke pyaar ne aapke saath hone ka ehsaas karati thi…..ab von hi hai toh khali kahli lag rha hai……maine bahut koshish ki par vo mujhe kahin nhi mila…..sorry papa maine aapki akhri nishaani kho di…I am really really sorry…..(inbroken voice)

As raavi heard shiva’s broken voice she just couldn’t control herself from crying. His voice was so much broken. She never saw this side for him. she knew what his father meant to him and how important that locket was that his father gave him as his last gift before his death. She kept her hand on her mouth to supress her sound. For sometime shiva let out his pain there and then left taking his bike.

Raavi saw the retreating figure with determination and said ‘ab tu aur nhi royega shiva…..tere aasuo ki wajha main khatam karke rahungi….chahe uske liye mujhe kuch bhi karna pade’. Then,she suddenly realised what she said.

Raavi’s POV

Ye main kya bol rahi hu…..shiva ke aasu mujhe kyun itna effect kar rahe hai…..ye ho kya raha hai mujhe ek hafte se…shiva se jude har ehsaas ko, har emotion mo main itna deeply kyun feel karti hu……yeh ho kya gya hai mujhe…….nhi nhi….abhi mere paas time nhi hai….mujhe shiva ko uska locket kisi bhi haal me dhondna hai….

Raavi’s POV ends

Raavi went to her home. She thought to start the search for the locket from tomorrow and if she doesn’t find one, she would buy him a replica of that. She knew that it can’t take the place of original but still it may give a little peace to his heart.

Next day, raavi set out ofthe house early in the morning in the search of locket. She made excuse of group studies at sneha’s place and prafulla happily agreed. When raavi went to sneha asking her to help her out, sneha advised her to ask for shiva’s forginess as the reward if she was successful in finding his locket but raavi completely denied saying ‘nhi…ye main uski maafi ke liye nhi kar rahi main isliye kar rahi hu kyunki main usse dukhi….mera matlab uske pariwaar ko dukhinhi dekh sakti…agr vo sad hoga toh pura pariwaar bhi sad hoga na….isliye…..maaf karna na karna uski marji hai….’. sneha smriked at the denial of her friend.

Raavi went to every possible place in the search of that locket but didn’t find it. she showed the picture of that locket to many people. At last she went to the road, the same road which shiva used to go the main market to buy stuff.

It was about to get dark,but raavi still was looking for the locket. She walked on the silent road searching for the locket. She carefully looked the roadside thinking that may be she would be able to find it. she was walking and observing the area carefully when she heard somone screaming ‘side hato ….truck ke break fail hogaye hai….side hato’. Raavi turned around and saw a huge truck coming towards her with high speed. She got froze with blank mind not what to do. As the truck came nearer to her, she mummers ‘mari toh maa-papa ka saath…aur bachi toh kismat ka ishaara…’ and closed her eyes tightly. But before the truck could hit her, she felt a strong pair of arms pulling her down. Thud. She fell on the road side but with someone under her. She slowly opened her eyes and found shiva under her looking at her with anger.Shiva pushed her and sat up. Raavi also sat there correcting herself

Sh: (angrily) aee mami ki behn ki beti….ye kya kar rhi thi tu?….koi naya shokk chada hai kya tujhe marne ka?.....

Ra: 😮😮….mujhe koi shauk nhi hai marne ka….samjha?....

Sh: (sarcasticaly) hn tabhi truck ko dekh ke tere perr rukk gye jaise shah rukh ko dekh liya ho……

Ra: ha ha ha…very funny……(picking her phone which fell from her hand) rahi baat shah rukh ki…usse truck se com-

Raavi paused as she saw something shining under the leaves on the ground because of the flash light of her phone(guys raavi jab locket dhund rhi thi tab usne phone ki flash khol rakhi thi jo abhi tak band nhi hui😅). She got up and started inspecting the place. Shiva looked her confused. Raavi saw the thing and shouted ‘shiva mil gya’

Sh: (rolling his eyes) abe gadhedi…main kahan khoya tha jo mil gya….(stands up)….(coldly) mujhe tujhse baat-

Ra: (stands) shiva tera locket mil gya(showing him the locket)….(shiva’s reaction 😦😐)……….(without observing his expression) mujhe pta tha tera yahan aana jana laga rehta hai….mujhe subh sabse phele yahan aana chahiye tha….turant mil jata…(like a rajdhani express)

Shiva looked her with blank face. He was shocked after realising that she was here to find his locket. He didn’t expect that. Then he heard her last line, his level of shock increased.She was searching for this since morning. But how did she come to know that his locket was missing.

Sh: (slowly) tu..tujhe kaise pta ch-

Ra: (fearing of getting scolded) vo..vo actually  kal jab tudukaan se nikala toh maine tera peecha kiya… kyunki mujhe tujhse baat karnithi……tabhi mujhe pata chal gya……

Shiva looked her with amused expression. He still couldn’t believe that she did this and that too forhim.

Ra: (taking the wrong meaning of his expression) nhi nhi…ye maine isliye nhi kiya taaki main tujhse maafi maang saku….vo toh kal jab tujhe aise sad dekh ke mujhe bahut bura laga…

Raavi realised what she blurted out subconsciously and bit her tongue. Shiva stood motionless registering her work and word.

Ra: (calmly) shiva….dekh bas ek baar meri baat sunle….uss din jo maine tujhe kaha vo pta nhi kaise, bina soche samjhe…..shiva meri halat thi nhi kuch sochne samjhne ki…..maanti hu maine jo kaha bahut galt kaha…..(emotionally)and I really sorry for that….please usse meri bebkoofi samjh ke maaf karde please…..(maves a bit forward to hold his hand but didn’t hold as she thought would not like that)..aur ye locket….isse maine isliye nhi dhunda ki tu mujhe maaf karde…..mujhe pta hai ki iski kya keemat hai teri life me…..aur tu kitna sadtha…isliye maine isse dhunda…..koi favour nhi kiya maine tujhe pe…..shiva tusun raha hai na kya-

After this what happened was shocking, amusing, breathtaking and needed, all at the same. shiva hugged raavi.

Ho.. dhoop mein jalte hue tann ko,

chhaya ped ki mil gayi

Raavi froze for a min. ‘he hugged me. shiva hugged me. is this reality or imagination? My dushman hugged me.’ she thought. Then she felt her shoulder getting wet.

Ra: (hugging him back)shiva tu thik toh hai?....ro kyun raha hai?....shiva..

Roothe bachche ki hansi jaise,

phuslaane se phir khil gayi

Hearing her, shiva came out trance and broke the hug. He looked her and she looked him worriedly. He wiped his tears. He took the locket from her hand and wore it. raavi thought he would say something but he walked towards his bike which was kept at a distance.

Kuch aisa hi ab mehsoos dil ko ho rahahai

Barson ke puraane zakhmon pe marham lagasa hai

raavi was confused at his action. ‘was he still angry? Or something else’ she thought. Shiva went to his bike, sat and started. Raavi’s reaction😮. ‘is he going to leave her alone in this silent road’ she thought. Then she observed that though he started the bike brought in front of her and gave race to it.

Kuch aisa reham is lamhe mein hai

Ye lamha kahaan tha mera

She realized that he was waiting for her to sit. She slowly went towards him expecting that he would leave but he didn’t. as she reached near him, he gave race to the the bike. She didn’t know what to do.

Ab hai saamne, ise chhoo loon zara

Mar jaaun ya jee loon zara

She sat behind him silently and hesistantly kept her hand on his shoulder just to see his reaction but this time the reaction was positive; he didn’t shove his hand away. Rather he drove off silently.

Khushiyan choom loon

Ya ro loon zara

Mar jaaun ya jee loon zara

They had a silent ride without any talks but lots of emotions. Both werehappy and content, yet confused because this feeling was different, really different.

 In home

Both adjusted themselves on the bed thinking about each other.

Raavi’s POV

aaj shiva ka alg hi roop dekha hai maine…..caring, emotional…….usko hug kar ke aisa laga jaise mera saara dard ek baar me chala gya ho…..kuch alag hai…..mujhme bhi….ek hafte se usse dimag se nikal nhi paa rahi hu…..phele ka toh thik hai but ab toh sab sahi hai…..usne maaf-…..usne maf kiya hai bhi nhi?....bola toh ek bhi baar nhi….lekin bike pe wapis laya…. aur haath bhi toh nhi jhatka…..hug bhi toh kiya tha….uff kitna confusion hai ….raavi, uske baare me sochna band kar aur soja…..

Shiva’s POV

Samjh nhi aa raha ki ye kya ho rha hai mujhe…..maine usse hug kar liya….. pata nhi kya soch rahi hogi….ab puri zindagi chidayegi……jisse zindagi bhar khud se 10 foot ki duri par rakha usse aaj gale se laga liya….par aaj usne jo kiya…usne mujhe aaj meri bahut keemti cheez lautadi……usse ye karne ki zaroorat nhi thi phir usne kiya…..kya sach me mera uski taraf najariya galt hai?......sayad hn…uski koi nhi cheez usse maami jaisa nhibanati……oho itna kya soch rah ahu…..usne mujhe locket dhond ke diya aur maine usse-…maine usse thank you bhi nhi bola…..phele hi hug ki wajha se dimag khayegi….thanks bola toh…..par bolne toh padega……kya kar raha hai shiva…..bol dena jab bolna ho…..abhi toh so jaa….pichle ek hafte se neend haram kar rakhi hai iss chipkali ne……

Both slowly drifted to sleep thinking of each other.

Next day, raavi went to pandya store early in the morning to meet shiva. She wanted to ensure that he forgave her or not. And luckily she found him alone.

Ra: (happily as she enters the shop) shivaaa….

Shiva, who was peacefully working, got worried after hearing her

Sh: (to himself) lag gyi lanka…..ab isse ache baat karunga toh puri zindagi sar pe naachegi…..iske saath na gusse se kaam lena hoga……lekin thoda samhal ke…..

Ra: (tapping his shoulder)o hero….tujhe bula rahi hu….

Sh: (faking anger) ae mami ki behn ki beti…kya hai hn…..chain se jeene degi mujhe ya nhi…..tu na nikal yahan se chal….

Ra: (pouting cutely) haww shiva kal tak tu thik tha…..itne ache se bike pe baithne diya….mujhe toh laga hum dost ban gye hai……

Sh: (sarcastically)dost…..huh….tune kabhi kisi nevale aur saap ko dost bante hue dekha hai…..impossible….

Ra: (smiles) sahi hai…..saap aur nevala dost nhi ban sakte…..par do ajnabi toh dost ban sakte haina…… dekh tu aur main ajnabi ban jate hai….tu mujhe nhi jaanta aur main tujhenhi…..kahani ko na starting se start karte hai…..

Sh: (calmly yet in shiva’s style) kahani ko starting se start karne ke liye wapis bachpan me jaana padega….mere bachpan har hisse me tujhse ladai ke kisse hai….ajnabi banne ke liye phele bache banna padega jo hum ban nhi sakte……tune jo kal mere kiya uske liye thankyou so much…….lekin ye dosti ke faltu sapne mat dekhna chode……(grabs her shoulder) aur ab nikal…bahut dimag khaliya tune…(drags her out of the store)

Ra: shiva sun toh….

But shiva didn’t listen and went inside the shop.

Raavi: (to herself) Kyun nhi ho sakti humari dosti…..aaj toh tune kitni shaanti se baat ki…..par koi nhi…itna toh main samjh gyi ki tu ab mujhse naraaj nhi hai…….sayad dheere dheere dosti bhi ho jaye……

Raavi left the shop with satisfactory smile on her face. Shiva turned and saw her leaving.

Shiva: (to himself) kal ahsaas hua ki tujhse bachpan se nafrat karke galti ki hai…par maami ke liye nafrat kam nhi hui hai….aur main nhi chahta ki tu iss nafrat ke beech me pis jaaye…..isliye tera mera dosti na karna hi sahi hai…..aur jo pichele ek hafte me hua hai….vo mujhe tujhse nafrat bhi nhi karne dete…..par main nhi chahta ki maa aur dost ke beech me phas jaaye….

Shiva came out of his thought when a costumer came to the shop.

After that day, shivi used to fight but there fights her no more hurtful. Raavi many times tried to be friend with shiva but shiva maintained his coconut shell over his softness for her.
