In this charming post, Zeenat Aman shares a monochromatic picture from the 80s. She fondly reminisces about the era's flamboyant fashion – the poofy hair, the exaggerated collar, and the sparkling outfit, which were all the rage during the '80s. This particular shot was taken during a fun test shoot.

But it's not the '80s fashion that Zeenat Aman wants to share with her fans; it's the enchanting story from her maiden film set experience. As she sets the stage with her vintage snapshot, Zeenat recalls the moment she stepped onto the film set for the very first time.

In her own words, Zeenat described the set as a far cry from the glamorous world she had envisioned. She wrote, "Poofy hair, an exaggerated collar, and a whole lot of sparkles. This picture just has to be from the 80s. It was one of those test shoots one does for fun, and that snazzy jacket was my prized possession at the time.

Let me rewind a little further and share an anecdote. The very first day that I walked onto a set in 1970, I looked around and was taken aback by how dull it all was. Wires snaked across the floor, heavy camera machinery was propped up on rusty trolleys, men ran hither and thither shouting instructions and ferrying supplies. It was nothing like I had imagined."

In that bewildering moment, Zeenat Aman couldn't help but wonder out loud, "But where's the glamour?" Her director, OP Ralhan, offered a sly smile and responded with a drawl, "Babusha, YOU are the glamour."

For the unversed, Zeenat Aman's cinematic journey commenced in 1970, with her early films including titles like "The Evil Within," "Hulchul," and "Hungama." However, it was her breakthrough role in "Hare Rama Hare Krishna," where she starred alongside the legendary Dev Anand, that truly catapulted her into the limelight.
