Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi pushes Abhira away in a fit of anger

In tonight’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ruhi takes a stand against Abhira, accusing her of being overly dramatic and of diverting Manish’s affection away from her. Manish, trying to calm the situation, asks Ruhi if she believes he is incapable of loving both of his daughters equally. Despite Abhira’s efforts to clarify that Manish is also her grandfather, Ruhi refuses to accept her, leading to a physical altercation where Abhira ends up falling. Manish catches her, but Ruhi uses the opportunity to taunt, pointing out that Manish is there for Abhira, further deepening the rift.

Ruhi makes a decision:

In her frustration, Ruhi decides to distance herself from both Manish and Abhira. This leaves Abhira troubled over Ruhi’s refusal to maintain their connection. Manish reassures Abhira, asking her to focus on her upcoming sangeet while he takes responsibility for resolving things with Ruhi. He contemplates that Akshara had likely contacted him to inform him about Abhira and decides to embrace his role fully, vowing not to keep his true identity hidden from her any longer.

Swarna, on the other hand, confronts Manish regarding his unwavering support for Abhira. She points out that Ruhi is grappling with her insecurities because of his actions. Swarna explains that Ruhi’s fear of losing her family is intensifying, yet Manish continues to defend his choices. Frustrated, Swarna expresses that Manish’s concern seems solely for Abhira, neglecting Ruhi’s feelings. She sternly reminds him that Ruhi, too, has no parents, making her an orphan just like Abhira. Upset, Swarna leaves the conversation. Manish, however, stands firm in his decision, resolving not to forsake Ruhi while ensuring Abhira gets what is due to her.

Armaan and Abhira's sangeet:

Abhira, burdened with stress, finds herself in an awkward situation when Armaan begins to flirt with her. His advances, including kisses, initially make Abhira uneasy. However, the interaction soon turns into a romantic moment, as they both share a tender connection amidst the tension. She shares her concern that not everyone is pleased about their impending marriage, a sentiment that weighs heavily on her. Armaan lightheartedly remarks that Kaveri is angry, and in an attempt to lighten the mood, Abhira suggests making Kaveri dance at her sangeet. However, Kaveri, having overheard this conversation, firmly declines the idea of dancing.

As the Poddar family prepares for the sangeet, they find themselves caught in a downpour, which leads to Kaveri cancelling the event after Manish informs everyone that reaching the venue would be impossible due to the heavy rain. Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan’s car breaks down, prompting Madhav to advise Armaan to hitch a ride in someone else’s car. Amidst this chaos, Abhira and Armaan get soaked in the rain, leaving Kaveri to lay blame on Abhira for the disruption. Armaan steps in, telling Kaveri to stop accusing Abhira of something as uncontrollable as the weather.
