Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Madhav opposes Armaan's marriage to Abhira

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Swarna expresses her frustration upon seeing Abhira at the house, questioning Manish's decision to bring her there. Manish instructs Surekha to take Abhira to a separate room, and when Swarna inquires about Abhira's situation, Manish explains that Abhira is facing a difficult period and urges Swarna not to question her.

Ruhi becomes upset with Manish for bringing Abhira to the Goenka household. She believes that Manish's interference prevented Abhira and Armaan's wedding from being called off. Armaan decides to reach out to Abhira but recalls her inability to have children.

Madhav agrees with Kaveri:

Abhira is overwhelmed with emotion as she misses Akshara and struggles with the reality that she cannot become a mother. She begs Akshara to return, and Manish feels sympathy for Abhira's plight. Manish, through a photo of Akshara, assures her that he will stand by Abhira and expresses regret for having previously expelled Akshara from the house. To alleviate Abhira's distress, Manish resolves to support her, driven by his guilt.

Kiara questions Kaveri if she would have made the same choice if the situation had involved her or Charu, while Aryan and Krish urge Kaveri to understand Abhira's perspective. Kaveri laments her harshness towards Abhira and acknowledges that no household would support a girl with a disability. Madhav agrees with Kaveri, but Manisha challenges Madhav's position. Madhav, familiar with the poddars, suggests that if Abhira decides not to marry Armaan, it would be better than facing the ongoing ridicule and taunts from the poddars for the rest of her life.

Ruhi is happy with Abhira's decision:

Vidya expresses sympathy for Abhira but maintains that Armaan's pain cannot be overlooked. She insists that Armaan must choose between his mother and Abhira. Armaan overhears the conversation and is overwhelmed with emotion, breaking down in distress. At the same time, Abhira experiences a hallucination of a baby calling her "Mumma," leading her to reflect on their memories while staring at the lock screen of her phone. While Armaan hides inside the cupboard, Kaveri reassures him, offering comfort and emphasising that he is under no pressure. Kaveri urges Armaan to make a decision, advising him to consider whether Abhira can bring him happiness before making his choice. Meanwhile, Abhira decides to have a conversation with Armaan about their future together.

Armaan informs the poddars that Abhira has declined to marry him and questions Kaveri and Vidya if they are satisfied with her decision. Kaveri becomes enraged with Armaan for placing blame on her, while Manisha defends Abhira, feeling sorry for her. Vidya remains resolute in her stance on separating Armaan and Abhira, while Ruhi is pleased to learn of Abhira's decision to refuse the marriage.
