Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode shows Ruhi and Rohit noticing Abhira in tears. Ruhi worries about her sister, while Rohit plans to talk to Armaan. Abhira, wrapped in a blanket, speaks to her baby, saying their father loves them but is anxious about complications. She urges Armaan to feel their baby and insists their child is determined to fight for their place in the world.

Armaan is hesitant about risks for their baby, but his cousins tease them about their blanket moment. Charu asks Abhira to bake a cake for her engagement, and with Armaan's support, she agrees. The next day, Kaveri gives Charu a family ring, and she admits she likes Neeraj. 

As the engagement starts, Armaan helps Abhira get ready. During the ceremony, Charu and Neeraj exchange rings, but Abhira seems unhappy and places Armaan's hand on her stomach during the photo session.

Manish unexpectedly arrives at the engagement, prompting Sanjay to confront him and tell him to leave. Manish explains he didn't know about the event, and Kaveri questions why he came late, mentioning Surekha and Swarna. After realizing they weren't informed, Manish decides to leave, feeling undervalued, and Kaveri scolds Vidya, Kajal, and Sanjay for their disrespect.

As the groom's mother suggests cutting the cake, Charu notes that Abhira was supposed to make one, but Abhira admits she didn’t. Sanjay angrily questions her, but Armaan defends her. Neeraj offers to get a cake from a friend's bakery, and they proceed with the ceremony. Meanwhile, Armaan notices Abhira is missing and finds her crying in a cupboard.
