Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Ruhi's worries for Abhira grow as she cries, urging Rohit to investigate

Tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode opens with Ruhi and Rohit observing Abhira as she wipes away tears while leaving the room. Ruhi notes that Abhira appears troubled today. Rohit advises Ruhi not to worry too much about herself or the baby, suggesting that Abhira and Armaan might have had a disagreement regarding the Karvachauth celebration. 

However, Ruhi disagrees, asserting that Armaan could never be upset with Abhira due to his unwavering devotion to her. She believes the issue must be something more serious, as Armaan seems off, and Abhira is in tears. Rohit comments that if she's crying, then why should Ruhi worry? 

Hesitant to admit her concern for Abhira, Ruhi deflects by saying it's nothing and questions Rohit instead. She probes whether he's worried about Armaan. Rohit acknowledges that he is concerned for Armaan, just as Ruhi is for her sister. In response, Ruhi asks him not to call Abhira her sister, to which Rohit agrees. He assures her that he'll speak to Armaan to find out what's going on, and Ruhi accepts this.

Abhira, wrapped in a blanket, speaks to her baby, expressing that the baby's father loves them but is anxious about the complications, which is why he is advocating for an abortion. Armaan joins her, and she encourages him to feel their baby. Abhira insists that their child is determined to come into the world and fight for their place, urging them to support her. 

However, Armaan expresses his unwillingness to take that risk. Just then, Armaan's cousins arrive, teasing the couple about their "romantic blanket moment." Abhira and Armaan emerge from beneath the blanket. Krish and Charu showcase some dresses, and Charu requests Abhira to bake a cake for her engagement. Although hesitant, Abhira ultimately agrees when Armaan assures her she will do it. Rohit then inquires about Armaan's well-being, and Armaan reassures him that everything is fine.

The next day, Kaveri presents a family heirloom ring to Charu, asking if she has feelings for Neeraj. Charu beams and confirms she likes him very much. Neeraj and his family arrive for the engagement ceremony, and Kaveri mentions they'll start once Abhira and Armaan show up. Krish offers to fetch them, but the groom's mother questions why he needs to step out, asking if they aren't inside the house. Krish quickly clarifies that they are in the house.

Armaan notices that Abhira isn't dressed yet and appears frustrated. He assists her in getting ready and accompanies her to the engagement ceremony. Charu and Neeraj exchange rings, receiving blessings from their family. Krish light-heartedly teases Charu, and then the photo session kicks off. Family members observe Abhira's lack of happiness during this time. During the photo session, Abhira places Armaan's hand on her stomach.

Just then, Manish arrives unexpectedly at the engagement. Sanjay confronts him, questioning his uninvited presence and rudely telling him to leave. Manish explains that he was unaware of the engagement and is about to exit when Kaveri approaches him, asking why he arrived so late and inquiring about Surekha and Swarna. Manish informs her that they were not informed about the engagement. Kaveri apologises, noting how her family seems to have forgotten the importance of respect in relationships. Manish decides to leave, stating he won't stay where he doesn't feel valued. Kaveri scolds Vidya, Kajal, and Sanjay for their disrespectful behaviour.

The groom's mother suggests that it's time for the couple to cut the cake. Charu mentions that Abhira was supposed to make a cake for the event, but Abhira admits she didn't manage to do it and apologises. Sanjay reacts angrily, questioning why she didn't notify them earlier. Armaan comes to Abhira’s defense. Neeraj reassures everyone that it's alright and arranges for a cake from a friend's bakery. They proceed with the cake-cutting ceremony. Meanwhile, Armaan notices Abhira is missing and starts searching for her, eventually finding her crying in a cupboard.
