Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira conceals pregnancy news from Armaan, decides to keep the baby

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Abhira and Armaan are left in shock upon hearing the news that Kaveri has passed away. However, Krish reassures them, clarifying that Kaveri is fine and that her surgery is about to begin. He advises them to stay calm, explaining that the media reports were false. Abhira then confronts the media for spreading misinformation.

Meanwhile, Madhav apprehends the criminal involved. The Poddars learn that a goon had come with the intention of attacking Abhira. Upon discovering the goon's plan, the family suspects that Kaveri intervened to protect Abhira but got injured in the process. Manisha blames Abhira for Kaveri's current state, but Armaan stands up for her. Manisha continues accusing Abhira, but Armaan defends her, arguing that Abhira had no knowledge of the impending threat. Abhira, feeling upset, asks Armaan to leave. He refuses and points out that the Poddars frequently hold Abhira responsible for everything that goes wrong, reiterating his defence of her honour.

Armaan warns Ruhi:

Manisha, however, accuses Abhira of manipulating Armaan. Upset, Abhira walks away from the confrontation. Later, Abhira goes to a temple to pray for Kaveri's recovery. The priest there advises her to fill a coconut with water to ensure her prayers are answered. Abhira agrees to perform the ritual. A woman at the temple suggests that Abhira may be pregnant, but Abhira dismisses her words and remains focused on praying for Kaveri. She receives a blessing from the deity, but soon feels a wave of nausea.

Armaan, on the other hand, is waiting for Abhira's return. Ruhi, trying to provoke Armaan, compares Abhira to her mother, accusing her of knowing how to escape difficult situations. Annoyed, Armaan warns Ruhi to keep quiet, or else he will reveal her misdeeds to the Poddars. Shortly after, the doctor informs the Poddars that Kaveri's condition has stabilised, and she is no longer in danger. Armaan begins searching for Abhira.

Abhira decides to keep the baby:

At the same time, Abhira discovers that she is indeed pregnant and is thrilled at the prospect of sharing the news with Armaan. However, her excitement is tempered when the doctor informs her that her pregnancy is high-risk, warning that there is a possibility of severe bleeding. The doctor advises Abhira to reconsider continuing with the pregnancy. 

Despite this, Abhira remains determined to tell Armaan about their child. In a conversation with a man who prioritised the baby's life over his wife, Armaan states that if he ever faced a similar choice between saving Abhira or their child, he would unequivocally choose Abhira. This declaration leaves Abhira in shock, prompting her to contemplate the implications of his words. She imagines a moment where Armaan discovers her pregnancy, and his face lights up with joy. He embraces her tightly, reassuring her that everything will be alright, and in that moment, she feels a wave of happiness wash over her.

However, reality quickly snaps back as she realises that Armaan is still confronting the man, challenging him on how he would explain to their child the absence of a mother. Abhira reflects on the complexity of revealing the truth to Armaan. She realises that he deserves the happiness of a family, and despite the risks to her own life, she is determined to keep the baby.
