#WrapUpOctober: All in all, a balanced month it was!

The month of October did surprise us as we expected it to. But it turned out to be pretty balanced. It surprised us, shocked us, made us happy and even disappointed us but all was done in equal measure.

ENTRIES

This month had as many re-entrants as there were any entries.

Top names among the entries were Vin Rana as Purab in Kumkum Bhagya, Parul Chauhan and Mohena Singh in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Karishma Tanna in Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha, Apara Mehta and Nikunj Malik in Brahmarakshas and Pratap Hada in Swaragini.

Many key characters of the following shows resumed back their roles. Some of them were Sheena Bajaj and Ankit Bathla who returned to Thapki Pyaar Ki, Vandana Pathak who returned as the evil Gaura to Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Karan Wahi and Mubeen Saudagar returned to the second season of Comedy Nights Bachao with Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza and Delnaaz Irani who returned to Akbar Birbal.

EXITS

There were less but key exits this month. Karan V Grover, after a lot of speculated reports, finally quit Bahu Humar Rajni_kant, Utkarsha Naik,Kajal Pisal and Khalid Siddiqui's track in Saath Nibhana Saathiya ended paving way for the trio's exit, Abigail Pandey quit Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha and Pragati Mehra was unceremoniously replaced by Delnaaz Irani in Akbar Birbal, forcing her to exit the show. In one of its kind exits, Mukesh Khanna quit his show Peshwa Bajirao, even before he had to start shooting for it, owing to creative issues that were not resolved. Talk of Swaragini's Lakshya aka Namish Taneja quitting the show are doing the rounds, but have not yet been confirmed yet.

SHOWS LAUNCHED

This month had four major launches and that too in different genres. From a gripping thriller like Beyhadh which won the audience over, to the mytho show Chandra Nandini, which did not create much of an impact as Ekta's last mytho Jodhaa Akbar and not to mention one of India's no.1 reality show Bigg Boss Season 10 and Devanshi, a show on social stigmas, all created a niche for themselves and also found their target audience.

SHOWS BEING PULLED OFF AIR

There were also rumors of Mahesh Bhatt's ambitious show Naamkarann being pulled off air, but these reports too have not yet been confirmed.

CUPID ATTACKS

This month saw more people deciding to take the plunge into marital bliss than those dating. Amongst the dating section, we have Kavita Kaushik, who has apparently found love again after Nawab Shah, Hina Khan whose marriage rumors were doing the rounds but she made her relationship official only this month and last but not the least, Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary, who haven't yet confirmed their relationship but have been teasing their fans with the same.

Ek Nayi Pehchaan actor Karan Sharma, Beintehaa actress Dimple Jhangiani and Swaragini fame actress Akansha Chamola and Gaurav Khanna, all will soon get hitched.

HEARTBREAKS

Actors Kunal Verma and Pooja Bose split up after dating for quite a long time. But as they say, the couple still claim to be on friendly terms.

BAD NEWS

The midst of this month saw another ugly controversy featuring Parth Samthaan and Vikas Gupta again. And no, this one did not involve the two alone, but another person. Reports of transgender Gauri Arora being dated and dumped by hottie Parth Samthaan surfaced which led to loads of mudslinging and blah blah blah.

Also, Suryaputra Karn actor Shaleen Bhanot got a 'clean chit' in the domestic violence case that his wife Dalljeit Kaur filed against him. The couple have filed for divorce which will come around in the month of February next year. News of how Dalljeit was upset about Shaleen spreading false rumors of getting a clean chit, whereas there was no court case fought also did the rounds.

The month ended on a great note with Tinsel Town's two hottie actors embracing daddyhood'. And the icing on the top was the fact that both these actors were blessed with cute little baby girls. Udaan's Suraj aka Vijayendra Kumeria was blessed with a baby girl and Naagin 2's Rocky aka Karanvir Bohra and wife Teejay Sidhu were blessed with twin daughters.

The month had its ups and downs but ended on a happy and satisfying note.
