Vishwambhara Teaser: Chiranjeevi fans upset with makers after seeing tacky VFX; say, 'Scrap the whole thing'

The teaser of Vishwambhara is out on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra. It is supposed to be one of the big projects of megastar Chiranjeevi. However, the teaser has failed to impress fans. In fact, they are very disappointed on why did they release such a shoddy first look of what is supposed to be a big budget movie. There are references of Avatar, Dune and few more Hollywood films but fans seem very angry with the producers here. The movie reunites Chiranjeevi with Tamil actress Trisha Krishnan. She is making a comeback in Telugu movies after a while. The theme of Vishwambhara is somewhat similar to Kalki 2898 AD. 

As we know, the Vishwambhari Stuti is associated with the Goddess Durga. She is the ultimate feminine strength. One who destroys the evil to uphold the righteous and fights for Dharma. We can see that the world is under the grip of evil forces. Chiranjeevi comes as the savior to release everyone from its grip. The actor is looking quite youthful in the teaser. The cinematography is by Chota Naidu while Vassishtha is the director. MM Keeravani has composed the music for the movie. Fans have said that the BGM seems to be the only impressive thing so far.

Many feel that Vassistha has nicely managed to blend in mythology with sci-fi. This is what Nag Ashwin did with Kalki 2898 AD. But the visuals have failed to impress the majority of the audience. Sai Dharam Tej praised his friend Vassishtha on X. He wrote, “@KChiruTweets mama and the Socio-Fantasy genre are special! The #VishwambharaTeaser looks visually stunning. Best wishes to the whole team and @DirVassishta.. our school balcony will be proud of us ra.” Let us see if the trailer manages to overcome this initial wave of disappointment in some fans of Chiranjeevi.
