In a recent tweet, comedian Vir Das took a dig at an IAS officer who once ordered athletes out of a Delhi stadium so he could walk his dog. The officer has been posted to Ladakh, while his wife, who is also an IAS officer, has been posted to Arunachal Pradesh. Vir tweeted about a dog sprinting 100 metres, alluding to the incident but not naming anyone.

"Amazing. I was just out for a run in Ladakh. I saw a dog run 100 meters in record time. Really athletic. Not sure where the dog has been training, but very very impressive," he tweeted.

According to an Indian Express article, athletes were instructed to vacate the government-run Thyagraj stadium by 6 p.m. so IAS officer Sajeev Khirwar could pet his dog there. Rinku Dugga, Sanjeev's wife, is also an IAS officer. The officer, his wife, and their dog could be seen on the tracks in a picture that has gone viral. There are no other people in the picture. The cop informed the Express that the claims levelled against him were "completely false."
