Vicky Kaushal shares first teaser of Sam Bahadur; to release on 1st December 2023

One of the most eagerly awaited movies in Bollywood is Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film "Sam Bahadur," starring Vicky Kaushal as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The actor has formerly done quite a few patriotic characters and is back again with another powerful one. 

Well the movie is scheduled to premiere on December 1, 2023.

The Raazi actor took to his Instagram account to share a release date announcement teaser video where Vicky as Sam is seen walking amidst a battalion of army officers. Since the movie's announcement, people have been talking about Vicky's striking likeness to Sam and her accurate representation of the character, and now that the producers have pushed back the movie's release date, interest is only growing.

For the unversed, Sam Manekshaw served in the Army for four decades and five conflicts. He was the first Indian Army general to be given the title of Field Marshal, and Bangladesh was founded as a result of his military triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film stars Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra as Manekshaw's wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
