Veteran B-Town actor joins the cast of Amma!

Zee TV's next outing Amma, aims at redefining that women in television soaps are more than glamour quotient. Amma also marks the debut of actress Urvashi Sharma who will be playing the titular role of Amma. 

Amma would be a 52 episode finite journey of Zeenat, a mother of two, who is deserted by her husband during one of the darkest phases in the history of India - the Partition.

In standing up to the adversities strewn in her path and attaining a formidable stature in a world dominated by intimidating men, Zeenat is a role model for today's women. 

The cast of Amma boasts of Urvashi Sharma, Aman Yatan Verma, Shawar Ali and Nawab Shah. And joining this multi-ensemble cast of another veteran actor - Shashi Kiran. 

The actor confirmed the development with an online portal and also spoke at length about his character. The actor will be playing a negative role. He would be Zeenat's Mama who would raise her and then try to sell her for money. 

It would be an important cameo role.
