Ravi Kishan on hosting Bigg Boss 18 in replacement of Salman Khan; admits “There’s no one like him”

Ravi Kishan, who has stepped in as the host of Bigg Boss 18, recently gave an interview to India Forums where he shared his thoughts on taking over the role from Salman Khan. Known for his vibrant personality and immense dedication to cinema, Ravi feels blessed to have been given the opportunity. Speaking to India Forums, he admits that hosting Bigg Boss is both an honour and a challenge, especially considering Salman Khan's legendary status. “Salman and Bigg Boss feel like one,” Ravi says, acknowledging the unique bond Salman shares with the show.

Ravi, previously a contestant on Bigg Boss years ago, believes the show changed his life. “This house has given me many answers about life,” he said, reflecting on how his Bigg Boss journey helped him break free from the image of being just a regional cinema actor. Ravi Kishan was recently seen in the Oscar-nominated movie Lapaata Ladies and another blockbuster, Singham Again. With the support of industry giants like Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan, Ravi successfully transitioned back into Hindi cinema, eventually leading him to this hosting role.  

Though stepping into Salman’s shoes is no small task, Ravi is ready to give it his all. He admires Salman’s unmatched style and charm, saying that no one can truly replace him. For Ravi, hosting Bigg Boss is not just about guiding contestants but connecting with them on a deeper level. He focuses on helping them tap into their inner child, which he believes is crucial for surviving the intense atmosphere of the show.

Ravi also spoke about the contestants, saying that while there are some standout participants like Rajat, Karan, and Avinash, there are also underdogs who may surprise everyone. For Ravi, the unpredictability of Bigg Boss is what keeps the show exciting and fresh. His genuine love for the show and his respect for Salman Khan are evident as he embraces this new chapter in his career.
