Varun Dhawan and his father, filmmaker David Dhawan, are set to ignite the silver screen once again with their latest collaboration. Backed by Tips Films and produced by Ramesh Taurani, this yet-to-be-titled project promises to be a rib-tickling comedy extravaganza celebrating family, love, and laughter.
Scheduled for a nationwide release on October 2, 2025, this film marks the fourth collaboration between Varun and David Dhawan. Their previous ventures, including "Main Tera Hero," "Judwaa 2," and "Coolie No 1," have all been successful outings in the comedy genre.
Talking with a news portal, Varun Dhawan expressed his admiration for his father's prowess in comedy filmmaking, describing him as a guiding light in the industry. "Dad is the king of comedy," Varun remarked. "I feel safe when I work with my father."
Their partnership began with "Main Tera Hero" in 2014, followed by the blockbuster "Judwaa 2" in 2017, and the 2020 remake of "Coolie No. 1." While their previous collaborations have been met with success, each film has brought its own unique charm to the audience.
