Vanshaj's Anjali Tatrari on potential love between Yash and Yuvika, Mohit's exit: 'I'll miss him...'

To know more about the upcoming twists and turns, team India Forums engaged in an exclusive conversation with Anjali Tatrari, aka Yuvika of Vanshaj.

Anjali Tatrari

Anjali Tatrari, known for playing Yuvika Premraj Mahajan in Sony SAB's drama series Vanshaj, has acclaimed a position in the hearts of many. Not just double role, but Anjali is known for playing triple role in Vanshaj. Known as Yuvika, she played Yukti and then Chinky in the show, impressing her fans.

The show has recently taken a leap after Yuvika's triumphant victory over her cousin, DJ. Yuvika's relief is short-lived, as Talwars' entry promises to disrupt the peace of the Mahajans, especially Yuvika's. However, the show has recently made headlines for Mohit Kumar's exit as his character, Neel, meets a tragic end. When the fans were eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated wedding of #Nevika (Yuvika and Neel), Neel fell prey to the Talwars.

The Off-screen and on-screen chemistry between Mohit and Anjali has been loved by the audience since the very beginning, but this change in dynamics has left the audience wondering if the love interest of Yuvika will shift to Yash Talwar (Shaleen Malhotra). To know more about the upcoming twists and turns, team India Forums engaged in an exclusive conversation with Anjali, aka Yuvika of Vanshaj

Yes, Neil's track has come to an end. Honestly, I've had like a full graph with Neil. I mean, initially we had our difference of opinions and everything

With the Talwars' entry and DJ's defeat, Yuvika is seen sporting a new look. Can you tell us more about this transformation?

Honestly, after a long time, DJ got his rightful place. DJ deserved all of it because he literally tried to kill my family. But it's okay; there are ups and downs to show a graph in a show. I had a victory, but it was short-lived. However, given Yuvika's nature, I'm sure she'll never give up. So, if DJ gets up again, she'll make him fall again.

In the end, I'm assuring you, the truth will win. No matter how many times the devil gets up, no matter how many times the filth rises, one day, the truth will prevail. So, even if Yuvika's happiness or victory was short-lived, I'm confident that if something like this happens in the future, Yuvika will fight with all her heart, and she will make sure that the message comes through in the show: in the end, the truth will win. No matter the graph, no matter the ups and downs in life or in the show.

Once we got comfortable, we started improvising a lot. I think that's why the audience connected with this couple so much. We were even given a hashtag, Nevika. Nevika has received a lot of love

Neel's track has come to an end, and both your on-screen and off-screen bond with him have been cherished by fans. How has this journey been for you, and what will you miss the most about working together?

Yes, Neil's track has come to an end. Honestly, I've had like a full graph with Neil. I mean, initially we had our difference of opinions and everything.

But once we got comfortable and on the same page, it was really fun shooting with him. We had to do a lot of romantic scenes, so it was very important for us to be comfortable. I'm just blessed that the audience has shown so much love. They have made such good edits all this while. I'm definitely going to miss Nevika because I had a certain comfort with him towards the end of the show. It has been a great journey. Yuvika has seen so many shades.

It was beautiful working with him. What will I miss the most about working with him? He is a cartoon. He is literally a cartoon on the sets. So, I'll just miss him being him.

With Neel's departure, are we going to see a budding love story between Yash and Yuvika? What can fans expect from this new dynamic?

Not straight away, but maybe later in the future, it will happen. Neil's heart has been transplanted to Yash, and I will definitely feel Neil's presence strongly in the beginning because of the heart, of course.

Right now, honestly, if I talk about the character, I'm very much in the goodbye zone. I'm not even thinking about the future because all these scenes are so heavy on the heart, and I hate doing such scenes. As an actor, I get to perform a lot, but it's very heartbreaking. It takes a toll on my health because I get connected somewhere else, so it's a little difficult to do all these scenes.

Right now, I'm only focusing on these scenes, and it's a complete breakdown for Yuvika. Later, let's see where the story goes.

Lastly, what message would you like to share with all the fans who were eagerly looking forward to Neel and Yuvika's wedding?

I think more than a message, I would request fans not to get personal. It's not in my hands; it's in the writer's hands. I mean, when I randomly put a reel where I am chirpy or happy, these guys get personal, saying that, you know, it doesn't matter to her. She is happy that Neel is leaving.

But I want to tell you guys that it's a part of life. Every character has to go one day or another. We've all played characters before that we didn't want to let go of, but the show has to end someday. So, characters are like that. Just take it on a positive note.  Everyone who leaves will get a better opportunity in life, so it's better to take it on a positive note.

Other than that, I really care about the feelings of fans. I know you were eagerly waiting for the wedding and wanted Nevika to continue, but it's not in our hands. So, let's take it positively because we can't change the facts. I have all my love for the fans and understand your point of view and I'm not disregarding it; I'm just saying, let's not get personal. I'm also just doing the show. It's not in my hands. When I can fight for my character, I do, but sometimes it's out of my control. So, let's stay positive.
