Tiger Shroff REACTS on the debacle of Jacqueline starrer 'Ek Do Teen'

Jacqueline starred in the re-created version of Ek Do Teen for Shroff's upcoming film Baaghi 2.

Recreating popular songs from the 70's, 80's and 90's has become a trend in Bollywood. The newest addition to this is Jacqueline Fernandez starrer 'Ek Do Teen' which originally starred the Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit.

Honestly, when the news of the same broke out we couldn't hold our excitement given that the song was a phenomenal number of that time and now of the fabulous dancers in Bollywood - Jacqueline will be shaking a leg in this re-created version. And when the song finally released we were left thoroughly disappointed. 'EK DO Teen' has been currently receiving mixed reviews, majorly negative ones.

We recently interacted with the lead of Baaghi 2, Tiger Shroff and asked for his comment on the debacle of this song. He responded stating, "I thought that was expected though. When you do a remake, you are bound to get mixed reactions. Over here the only idea behind Ek Do Teen was to pay tribute to the legend like Madhuri ma'am. Nobody can match up to her. Let's put that out there and make it clear".

"That being said, I think Jacqueline worked very hard and did a good job on her part. Ganesh Acharya did a great job choreographing it. He was a dancer in the original song with Madhuri ma'am. So that being said, in no way we were trying to blow our trumpet. That's not the idea. The idea is to pay homage to Madhuri ma'am and relive the tune of Ek Do Teen", concluded Shroff.

Not only Tiger but co-star Disha Patani too gave her views on the same. She expressed, "No, it's doing so well. Look at the positive, we received a million views. Honestly, Views count, they matter. It's got so many views in one day. People are comparing and you can't compare it to Madhuri ma'am. That is an iconic song. This is just a tribute. It's nothing even close to her. It's a modern remix for the people who were probably not even born in that era".
