The months of November and December are considered to be the season of weddings, as the maximum number of weddings take place in these months.
And several TV actors like Karan Sharma-Tiaara Kar, Suyyash Rai-Kishwer Merchantt, Gaurav Khanna-Akansha Chamola and Dheeraj Dhoopar-Vinny Arora have planned their marriage in these last two months.
However, while the family of a person who is set to get married is usually busy with the arrangements for the wedding, this time around, things are totally different.
Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, shook the nation a week ago when he announced that Rs. 500 & Rs. 1000 will be defunct. And this has led to several inconveniences for many people.
And one of those is actor Karan Sharma, who is set to get married to fiancee, Tiaara Kar.
According to a report in a leading news daily, the actor is facing several problems while he gets married today in his hometown of Ranipokhri in Dehradun.
Karan said that the wedding organizers wanted cash payments and while his father withdrew money last weekend, the announcement by PM Modi left him stunned. It was not possible for the wedding to be postponed, and hence, they had to find a solution to it. After negotiations, Karan managed to collect some funds and the actor's family relatives have been queuing up in the massive queues outside banks. He also mentioned that the cap of Rs 2000 withdrawal per card is also a problem.
However, he concluded by saying that though there are problems, he completely supports this step on the government's part.
We wish things get sorted out and Karan has a trouble-free marriage..!
