'That Girl In Yellow Boots' to premier in New York

Mumbai, Aug 23 (IANS) Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's upcoming directorial venture 'That Girl In Yellow Boots', which has garnered much-acclaim at Toronto and Venice film festivals, is set for a New York premiere Aug 24.

'I am thrilled, excited, nervous and very happy for the premier, I am so looking forward to it,' Kalki Koechlin, who plays the lead role in the film, said in a statement.

Slated for a Sep 2 release worldwide, the film is scripted by Kalki, who also stars along with Naseeruddin Shah in it. 'That Girl In Yellow Boots' is the story of a girl who comes to India in search of her father and the journey that she undertakes.

'Emotionally it was the most draining film to shoot. It was a tough one, especially because it was made with borrowed money. I am very contented looking at the credibility my film has received,' said Kashyap.
