Actress Sumati Singh, who is known for her roles in shows such as ‘Roop-Mard Ka Naya Swaroop’ and ‘Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby, is now perfectly cutting the arc with her acting as the lead actress in 'Kirti' in the daily soap 'Kismat Ki Lakiro Se.' Apart from bagging such a pivotal role for herself, the actress once had to struggle for even a small role on TV, but with her acting skills, she has portrayed some of the massive hit lead roles on television, and now, after being part of numerous projects, she opened up about what more genres she wants to explore and also opened up her mind to doing Bollywood movies and her favourite director, who she wants to work with.

Talking about her mind set on debuting in Bollywood, she says, "Being an artist, I will always be open for options. If I get to make my Bollywood debut, I will surely say yes. I am also fond of big films like those from Dharma Productions and Yash Raj. I am also fond of realistic films, which are made on a small scale but are very relatable. Films like Badhaai Ho, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, and that kind of film are very relatable and realistic. I have not restricted myself to doing any certain project; I will go for something I like."

She continues talking about the director and actor she wants to work with. Says, "I would love to work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali; I always get mesmerised after watching his films. I have heard a lot about his perfection. So I would get to learn; it would also be a challenge, and who would not want to work with him? Then Dharma and Yash Raj films are also nice. It’s a dream to work with all these people who make movies larger than life.

She adds, "I am very fond of Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh; they are such amazing actors. I also like Aditya Roy Kapur; he is too good-looking. To match Ranveer Singh’s energy is very difficult, and he is outstanding. Shah Rukh Khan was my childhood crush, so I would love to work with him if I ever get the opportunity."

Sharing about bagging a South Indian film in the past, Sumati says, "When I came to Mumbai, I started giving auditions for TV. A South film was offered to me. Everything was almost final; we had the meeting, and even the contract was signed, but that film couldn’t be produced for some reason. It was a big film with good actors."
