Adah Sharma RESPONDS to fears about shifting into Sushant Singh Rajput’s apartment

Adah Sharma, the actress from The Kerala Story, cleared up that she rents, not owns, the flat where the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput resided. In a recent chat, she was asked if she felt nervous about living in SSR's place. Adah responded by questioning why she should be scared. She explained that only those who have something to hide should feel fear; if one has nothing to hide, there's no need to be afraid of anything.

In a recent chat with Instant Bollywood, Adah Sharma was questioned if she was scared about shifting into Sushant Singh Rajput's apartment. She responded, "Kyun darr lagna chahiye? (Why should there be fear?)” She further explained, “Agar life mein aap ne kuch galat nahin kiya hai toh darr kis baat ka. Agaar aap kuch guilt mein ho ya aap ne kuch galat kiya hai toh darr hona chahiye kisi bhi chiz ka i feel.” (If you haven’t done anything wrong in life, there’s no reason to be afraid. If you have guilt or have done something wrong, then you should feel fear about everything, I believe.)

The sea-facing duplex is located on the sixth floor of the Mont Blanc building in Bandra West, Mumbai. It comprises a 4-bedroom apartment with a terrace. The flat had remained unoccupied for three years until Adah Sharma and her family opted to settle in.

As per News 18, during an event on August 12, Adah Sharma made it clear that she rents the flat instead of owning it. When asked by a journalist about owning the property and misconceptions regarding her earnings from The Kerala Story (2023), Adah clarified that the film's earnings of Rs. 378 crores are not her personal income.

Adah shared that her grandmother, who resides in the flat with her, helps with the rent, whereas her mother, who doesn't have a job but cooks for the family, doesn't contribute financially. Adah also highlighted that Sushant Singh Rajput had also rented the property.

On the work front, Adah Sharma is gearing up for Vikram Bhatt’s Tumko Meri Kasam, where she will be seen alongside Anupam Kher, Ishwak Singh, and Esha Deol. This movie is part of four projects in the pipeline from Ajay Murdia’s Indira Entertainment, with support from Bhatt.
