Tanushree Dutta slaps a 10 crore defamation case against Rakhi Sawant

The plight of MeToo seems to be never ending. When Tanushree Dutta returned from the US and held a press conference to reveal her story of sexual harassment. She pleaded justice when she accused Nana Patekar of misbehaving with her on the sets of Horn OK Pleasss. 

When Tanushree held a press conference, how could Rakhee Sawant have held back. She was the one who replaced her in the song in Horn Ok Pleasss. She came up to the media and said that Tanushree is cooking things up. She said that Tanushree is hungry for publicity and this is one of her stunts to gain some. She even went ot the extent of calling her a liar.

In return of those hurtful things said by Rakhi Sawant, Tanushree Dutta has now taken action. She has filed a defamation case of Rupees 10 crores against her. In a statement to Republic TV, her lawyer said,"We have filed a criminal and civil defamation case against Rakhi Sawant for maligning my client's character and image. If she fails to revert, she will be punished for two years or fined or both."

The accusations against Nana Patekar has made him step away from Housefull 4. Even CINTAA has sent him a questionnaire to which he has replied that Tanushree's claims were motivated and malicious.
