Tamannaah Bhatia beaks her silence on embracing intimacy for 'Lust Stories 2'

Lust Stories 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular anthology series, boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Tamannaah, Vijay Varma, Neena Gupta, Amruta Subhash, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, and Tillotama Shome.

In a candid interview with Film Companion, Tamannaah shared her excitement about being a part of Lust Stories 2 and working with acclaimed director Sujoy. She expressed her happiness at being chosen for a role that required intimacy, considering her past reservations about on-screen physicality. Tamannaah admitted to being a part of the audience that would feel awkward and vowed never to engage in such scenes. However, she revealed that her perspective had evolved, and she no longer wanted to be confined by those limitations. For Tamannaah, it was a creative decision rather than a means to seek fame after her 18-year-long career in showbiz.

Acknowledging that India is a diverse country with varying degrees of evolution, Tamannaah emphasized that there is still progress to be made. Despite this, she did not want her inhibitions to hold her back, driven purely by her passion for creativity.

Aside from her role in Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah is also gearing up for the release of her upcoming web show titled Jee Karda, which will be available on Prime Video. Directed by Arunima Sharma, the series also stars Suhail Nayyar, Anya Singh, Hussain Dalal, Sayan Banerjee, Samvedna Suwalka, Simone Singh, and Malhar Thakar in pivotal roles.

Furthermore, Tamannaah has an exciting project lined up in the form of Rajinikanth's much-anticipated film, Jailer. Directed and written by Nelson Dilipkumar, the Tamil movie is slated for release in August and is produced by Sun Pictures. Jailer boasts an impressive ensemble cast that includes Jackie Shroff, Mohanlal, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan. . The much-awaited anthology 'Lust Stories 2' is set to premiere online on June 29, sending fans into a frenzy.
