Veteran Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has sustained a rib injury while shooting for his upcoming action-packed series Hunter in Mumbai.
Suniel’s manager confirmed the news to media, he said, “Anna did suffer an injury while shooting an action sequence today. He was shooting for the film in Mumbai. While shooting for a scene with three other actors, one of them charged towards him with a log of wood. Though the action sequence was choreographed, the log of wood hurt his rib cage. He was given instant medical care and he is now recovering. He is doing well.”
Suniel took to social media to inform his fans and followers that he is doing well. He wrote, “Minor injury, nothing serious! I am absolutely fine and ready for the next shot. Grateful for all the love and care 🙏❤ #OnSet.”
On the professional front, Suniel Shetty was last seen in Priyadarshan's Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea, a Malayalam film. He is also gearing up for his next major project, Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The star-studded film features Akshay Kumar in the lead, with an ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, and Shreyas Talpade. Aftab Shivdasani has also recently joined the cast.
Welcome To The Jungle is set to hit theaters on December 20.
