Sudha Chandran to enter Shastri Sisters!

Shakuntalam Telefilms' popular show Shastri Sisters which airs on Colors is all set to welcome a new entrant to the show. Popular actress Sudha Chandran who was last seen in Life OK's Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai... Ajab Sa Risk Hai is all set to enter the show to spice up the drama in the life of Alka (Neha Pednekar) and Rohan.  

We heard that, "Sudha has been roped in to play the character of Rohan's (Sujay Reu) Buaji in the show who is an authoritative and traditional lady. She enters the Pandey family and misunderstands that Harishankar is unwell. After entering the house, she will question about Alka's absence in the house. Now, Alka is called back in the house despite receiving divorce papers from Rohan."

Speaking about her character, Sudha says, "Buaji is an authoritative but a positive woman. I was in search of a positive role for a long time and I was missing being a part of Hindi television and speaking Hindi. I shifted my focus to South because I felt myself being overexposed in TV and my characters were getting repetitive too. I am happy that to have bagged Shastri Sisters because I was always envious that I was not a part of the Colors family."
