Last night, Ekta Kapoor hosted a success bash for the film, Lipstick Under My Burkha. The movie faced quite an uphill battle as it made its way through the censor board and the backlash it received for its content. Ekta Kapoor, with her Lipstick Revolution, united TV celebs in a campaign and now that the film is a winner at the box-office, they're celebrating.
The producer's bash saw a bunch of well-dressed guests and we picked some hot looks sported by our very own TV divas to brighten up your day -
From what we hear, the celebs put on their dancing shoes and partied hard. Ridhima Pandit wore the most casual-chic combo. She paired a knee-cut jeans with a white slogan tee. The Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant actress chose a brown sling and heels in a shade of the same colour. We dig the casual vibe fit for a night where dancing is a priority.
Krystle Dsouza chose to go black-and-white with her outfit. She rocked wide-legged pants with a striped asymmetrical sleeved top. She enhanced her beauty with a red lip. The Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hain actress kept the look colour coordinated with her shoes.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein's Anita Hassanandani also chose stripes of the nautical variation. She also furthered the nautical vibe with a pair of dark blue high-waist sailor shorts. She kept her shoes sporty and her earrings bold. Her slicked back hair and the nude pink lip let the ensemble take the lead.
Karishma Tanna chose a white top and lilac pants. Pairing pastels and neutrals, the actress blend the look in by finishing with a nude clutch. She opted for a watch and long earrings while her makeup was kept to a minimum except for the kohled eyes.
And finally, the host of the bash, Ekta Kapoor kept it simple with a denim one-shouldered dress. She wore classic black pumps in sync with the retro vibe. Although we think denim doesn't quite agree with the damp monsoon, the look does go well with rest of the party.
