Stree 2: Who Took the Bigger Paycheck? Rajkummar Rao Tops Shraddha Kapoor in Earnings- REPORTS

The much-anticipated horror-comedy Stree 2 has not only captivated audiences but also stirred curiosity about the salaries of its star-studded cast. The movie, which quickly entered the ₹100 crore club within two days of its release, has revealed some surprising numbers when it comes to the actors' paychecks.

According to a recent report by ABP News, Shraddha Kapoor, who reprises her role in Stree 2, charged ₹5 crore for her performance. However, Rajkummar Rao, who plays the character Vicky, earned even more, taking home a hefty ₹6 crore. This makes Rajkummar the highest-paid actor in the film.

Other key actors in Stree 2 also received substantial payments. Pankaj Tripathi, known for his versatile acting skills, reportedly earned ₹3 crore for his role. Aparshakti Khurana, who brought his comedic flair to the film, was paid around ₹70 lakh. Abhishek Banerjee, another significant cast member, charged approximately ₹55 lakh.

Interestingly, Varun Dhawan, who made a cameo appearance as Bhediya, reportedly charged ₹2 crore for his brief but impactful role.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office, earning an estimated ₹135 crore nett in just three days. The film follows the chilling story of a new villain, Sarkata, who terrorizes the town of Chanderi, with the townspeople turning to Stree for help.

During a press conference, Shraddha expressed her excitement about the sequel, stating, "I want to do films that make me feel like I haven't done this before. Films like Stree are special because they are memorable."
