'Jawan', featuring Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, has continued to shatter records, establishing itself as an all-time blockbuster with global collections of approximately Rs 1165 crores after just 54 days in theaters. This remarkable feat has propelled the film to become the highest-grossing Hindi origin movie in India, securing its place as the fourth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, following in the footsteps of 'Baahubali 2', 'KGF 2', and 'RRR'.
While making waves in India and internationally, 'Jawan' has notched another extraordinary accomplishment by entering the top 10 highest-grossing films at the UAE box office. Shah Rukh Khan's starrer is not only the highest-grossing Indian film in the UAE but has also risen to the 9th position in the UAE box office rankings. The film has garnered an impressive USD 9.17 million in the UAE, equivalent to over Rs 75 crores when converted to INR.
This remarkable achievement places 'Jawan' in the esteemed company of global blockbusters, further solidifying its place in cinematic history. The other films on this list include 'Avatar 2', 'Avengers: Endgame', 'Spiderman: No Way Home,'"Furious 7' 'The Fate Of The Furious', 'Aladdin', 'Top Gun: Maverick', and 'The Lion King'. All of these films have amassed global earnings exceeding a billion dollars, underscoring the significance of 'Jawan' joining this exclusive club.
Beyond the UAE, the film has also made a significant mark on the Bangladesh box office, securing its position among the top-grossing films in the region.
'Jawan' directed by Atlee Kumar boasts an ensemble cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, Sanya Malhotra, and others.
