Today, August 13, marks the day the Indian film industry was graced by the legendary actress Sridevi. She became an iconic heroine from the moment she stepped into the industry at the young age of four. As the world fondly remembers her today, her daughter, actress Khushi Kapoor, also reminisces about her beloved mother. To honor her memory, Khushi shared a heartwarming childhood photo featuring herself and her sister Janhvi Kapoor on her Instagram stories.
The Archies actress shared a picture of a framed photo from her home. This nostalgic image captures the Kapoor sisters with their mother, evoking a trip down memory lane for anyone who sees it. In the photo, Khushi Kapoor exudes cuteness with her short pixie hair, while the Mili actress, Janhvi Kapoor, opts for a playful approach, making funny faces during the photo session. These candid moments turned into cherished memories for the sisters with their mom, creating a beautiful snapshot of their bond.
When the clock hit midnight and the date turned, Sridevi's husband, actor-producer Boney Kapoor, also hopped on social media. He posted an edited picture of his wife, most likely from her 2012 comedy-drama flick, English Vinglish. Sharing the image of his loving wife, he penned, “Happy birthday my Jaan.”
Following this, Sanjay Kapoor, known for his role in Murder Mubarak and being Boney's brother and Sridevi's brother-in-law, expressed his affection in the comments section. He was accompanied by numerous users who fondly remembered the iconic actress from Mr. India on her special day.

The first female superstar, who ruled the film world of India for a few decades, was a learner throughout her life! Little Sridevi was playing around in the laps of legends, only mildly aware of their stature. Which made acting with them quite literally a child’s play for her. She was watching them closely and after a few years, acted with them, only to dominate them with her talent!! We lost a great actress, it is a loss irreplaceable.
