It was a simple but dreamy wedding for Sona and Zaheer

Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal got married on June 23, 2024. Ditching the traditional big fat weddings, they chose a simple civil ceremony at the Bandra home of Zaheer Iqbal. She has shared a video saying that a simple function with loved ones around was all that they wanted. In the video, we can see the Ratansi family members singing ‘Sona, Kitna Sona Hai’ for the new bride. She is seen blushing away to glory. Zaheer Iqbal too cannot control himself, and he needs up being too shy. Friends of the couple like Huma Qureshi, Saqib Salim and Siddharth cheer them on. In fact, we can see Siddharth with the mother of Aditi Rao Hydari.

In the video, we can see that Shatrughan Sinha is visibly emotional. While Sonakshi is the typical chill bride, the senior actor cannot help himself from tearing up. Sona too gets tears in her eyes seeing her father in emotional mood. Siddharth screams Khamosh and lightens up the scene as the emotions pour out. Zaheer Iqbal’s father seems to be the happiest at the nuptials of his son. Sonakshi Sinha is all tears when she says that she accepts him as her lawful husband. Shatrughan Sinha dismissed all rumours of Sinha family being upset with the choice of groom. He said it is the life of Sonakshi and she has full agency to decide who will be her life partner. Even Shatrughan Sinha had a love marriage. The actress was trolled badly ahead of the wedding so she has disabled all comments on her social media. The wedding party at Bastian in Mumbai was attended by Rekha, Salman Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma and others.
