Sobhita Dhulipala opens up about her choice to keep her engagement with Naga a low-key event

Sobhita Dhulipala, who's been making headlines due to her engagement to Naga Chaitanya, recently discussed why their ceremony was kept low-key. The well-known actress shared insights into her marriage intentions for the first time post her engagement in August. Sobhita also reflected on her faith in the sanctity of marriage and her long-held dream of tying the knot.

While promoting her movie Love Sitara, the Made in Heaven star had a candid chat with Galatta India. When discussing her engagement with Naga Chaitanya and her emotions on that day, she expressed, “I don’t think I went into the moment with a lot of expectations or dreams. No, I think I was there, it was quite relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm. It was everything I thought that it would be.” 

Moreover, Sobhita shared her fondness for the liveliness of events like weddings and engagements, appreciating the infusion of heritage and tradition they bring. She also discussed her longstanding desire for marriage and her eagerness to embark on the journey of motherhood.

Furthermore, reflecting on her childhood vision of an ideal marriage, the actress shared, “I always wanted ‘Teluguness’ to be a part of moments like this (wedding) because I am very attached to my roots, very close to my parents so the whole tradition aspect of it is what I did fantasize.”

For those who might not know, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya put rings on each other's fingers on August 8 surrounded by their near and dear ones. The famous actor Nagarjuna, who is Naga Chaitanya's father, shared the joyful announcement on social media.

It's worth noting that Naga Chaitanya was previously wed to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu after a period of dating. Nevertheless, destiny took a different turn as the couple revealed their separation in 2021. In their separation announcement, Naga and Samantha requested privacy as they 'move forward'. Despite their plea, the actors faced continuous scrutiny from the public and their fans regarding their decision.
