Sobhita Dhulipala bonds with Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni at the ANR National Awards - WATCH

It looks like Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala do not wish to keep things hidden any more. The couple will be tying the knot in December 2024 in a simple wedding in Rajasthan. Today, the ANR National Awards 2024 was held in Hyderabad. Amitabh Bachchan was the chief guest. He felicitated Chiranjeevi at the function. The whole Akkineni family was present. Sobhita Dhulipala who will marry into the family also attended the do. Dressed in a light green saree, she left her hair open. She wore it with simple earrings and carried a Lady Dior bag. We can see her posing with Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna. 

Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are planning to marry next month. The details are kept under wraps. The actress’ Godhuma Raayi ceremony happened some days back. She wore a silk Ganga-Jamuna saree gifted to her by Lakshmi Daggubati, the first wife of Nagarjuna and mother of Naga Chaitanya. The ceremony is about the grinding of the turmeric that will be used in the marriage. The couple got engaged in August 2024 in a quiet ceremony held in the home of Nagarjuna. Sobhita comes from a Telugu speaking family of Vishakhapatnam. Her father worked in the Navy.

The ANR National Awards are held in honour of Akkineni Nageswara Rao. It was his 100th birth anniversary. He is the father of Nagarjuna. Chiranjeevi was the recipient of the same. Amitabh Bachchan gave him the award plaque. Videos of Chiranjeevi touching the feet of Big B have gone viral. The megastar of India also touched the feet of Anjana Devi, the mother of megastar Chiranjeevi. Naga Chaitanya wore a deep blue velvet bandhgala for the function. The couple posed happily side by side. 

Nagarjuna had earlier said that his son Naga Chaitanya had gone into depression post his split. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and he had been in a relationship for more than a decade. The divorce broken the hearts of all #ChaySam fans. With Sobhita he kept things very low-key for almost six to eight months. It seems they got introduced to one another via Adivi Sesh.  Dhulipala has worked with him in Goodachari and Major.
