Singham Again Vs Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3: Rohit Shetty on the 'front foot' after bagging HUGE non-theatrical deal?

Bollywood fans are hoping that we see real firecrackers at the box office this Diwali with Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 taking on Singham Again. Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor have come together for Singham Again. It has been christened as the ‘Avengers Of The Cop Universe’. From Singham to Sooryavanshi, all the cop movies of Rohit Shetty are huge blockbusters. They are perfect for the masses and family audiences. Singham Again trailer will be out soon. Of late, we have heard of how South movies like Salaar, Devara, Pushpa 2 have inked huge non-theatrical deals. They have covered almost 80 per cent of production and marketing costs even before the release. It seems JioStudios and Rohit Shetty have inked a huge deal for Singham Again. 

Sources told an entertainment portal, the makers have already made Rs 200 crores from the satellite, digital and music rights of Singham Again. While it seems marginal in front of Pushpa 2, there is no denying that it is a good figure for a Bollywood movie. A source told Pinkvilla that it is the biggest non-theatrical deal for Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. We know that TV channels also pay big bucks for all Rohit Shetty movies. They have immense repeat viewing value for families. This time, even digital players have shelled out a large amount for Singham Again. The source said, “And why not? The film actually has the biggest ensemble set-up for a feature film in last few decades. The excitement for Singham Again is there all across the board, and the non-theatrical partners are confident that the film will get very good viewership after the release too on other mediums as Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have always delivered films with high repeat value.” 

It seems the movie has the theme of Ramayana. The Diwali weekend is one of the best to make money if a fil clicks with the audience. It will be released all-India by PVRInox Pictures.
