Singers become lead actors in upcoming show, 'Ishq Unplugged'!

Two singing reality show contestants to star as leads of an upcoming show!

Reality show contestants turning actors isn't a new concept. In the past we have seen contestants like Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Shakti Mohan of 'Dance India Dance' fame successfully making their acting stints with the show, 'Dil Dostii Dance'.

This bug seems to have bitten another set of contestants from two reality shows. According to a leading news portal, Mohit Gaur of 'India's Raw Star' and Shruti Prakash of 'Closeup WebSinger' fame are set to play the leads of an upcoming Channel V show, titled 'Ishq Unplugged'.

The show is supposedly set in the background of a singing reality show and will have a love story angle to it. The show will be presented by Panorama Entertainment who is currently running the successful show, 'Suhani Si Ek Ladki'.

The producer, Suzana Ghai confirmed the news telling, "Yes we have a new show for Channel V coming up, titled 'Ishq Unplugged'."
