Singer Armaan Malik issues official statement over Bigg Boss OTT contestants name confusion

Popular singer and music composer Armaan Malik, known for his numerous soul-stirring songs, usually keeps his life private. Armaan Malik is renowned for his soulful songs like "Main Hoon Hero Tera" and "Chale Aana." However, a recent social media post by the singer has grabbed headlines. Today, on July 8, Armaan Malik took to his social media accounts to address an issue that has been bothering him for some time.

In his lengthy note, Armaan expressed his strong disappointment over a case of mistaken identity. He wrote, 

"A YouTube creator, earlier known as Sandeep, later changed his name to Armaan Malik and is currently on Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. This is causing a lot of confusion, with many people mistakenly tagging me and assuming we are the same person. I want to be very clear: I have NO connection to this individual and do not endorse him or his lifestyle in any way. This situation is hampering my reputation and is turning out to be misleading to so many people who have supported me over the years. While I can't stop someone from changing their name and taking up the same as mine, I do request my own community to help me overcome this. Please stop tagging me in posts about anything related to him. Thank you for your understanding and support."

For those unfamiliar, Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 began last month on June 21. Among the contestants is a YouTuber named Armaan Malik, who entered the house with his two wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. This Armaan Malik has recently made headlines for slapping fellow housemate and content creator Vishal Pandey after Pandey made a comment about Kritika Malik. 

The incident occurred when Vishal said, "I am guilty of one thing here. Bhabhi (Kritika Malik) looks beautiful. I am speaking in a good way." During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Armaan confronted Vishal's remarks and ended up slapping him, which has stirred considerable controversy.
