Shraddha Kapoor has THIS to say about Stree 2 success credit and upcoming Stree 3

Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Bannerji, and Aparshakti Khurana, truly created wonders on-screen. At a recent event, lead actress Shraddha Kapoor expressed that the success stemmed from collaboration, and the entire team is thrilled. She also noted that director Amar Kaushik has a storyline for Stree 3, and she’s eager to find out more.

Shraddha Kapoor recently participated in the Screen Launch, where she shared her joy over the success of Stree 2. The film managed to draw audiences to theaters, even as other movies faced challenges at the box office, offering a glimmer of hope for Bollywood. However, this success sparked a debate regarding who should receive credit for it.

When asked about who she thinks deserves credit for the film's success, she stated that it all began with the success of the original Stree. She said, "Hats off to the director, writer, and producer for cracking a sequel. It's important not to make a sequel just for the sake of it—you need substance to bring people to theatres and earn genuine appreciation."

Shraddha conveyed her gratitude to the creators and writers behind the concept of Stree 2, which facilitated the film's production. She also recognized the efforts of fellow actors, dialogue writers, and different departments that contributed entertaining aspects, attracting audiences to cinemas.

She mentioned, "I believe it was a fabulous team effort. It was pure cinematic joy, And ultimately, the audience decides, right? They leave their homes seeking entertainment, and we're happy we could deliver."

The actress was asked about the potential for a third installment. In her reply, she shared that the film's director has already crafted a storyline for it, much to the delight of fans. Shraddha stated, "When Amar sir told me he had a story for Stree 3, I got very excited because I know it's going to be something amazing. I can't wait to hear what it's about." 

Stree 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles shattered numerous records and established new standards with its impressive performance at the box office. Helmed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhat, Stree 2 is the #1 film at the Hindi box office.
