'Ship of Theseus' collects Rs.25.46 lakh on opening weekend

Director Anand Gandhi's "Ship of Theseus", that released in just five cities, collected Rs.25.46 lakh on the opening weekend.
Made on a budget of Rs.2.5 crore (with print and advertising), it released Friday in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad.
"Ship of Theseus" did a business of Rs.11.05 lakh Sunday, Rs.9.20 lakh on Saturday and Rs.5.21 lakh Friday. That's a total of Rs.25.46 lakh, said a statement.
Filmmaker Kiran Rao has released the film in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures.
The story in "Ship of Theseus" talks about human values and features three characters - an experimental photographer, an ailing monk and a stock broker.
Now, the film will release in Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kochi on demand.
