Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram handle to call out a page that claimed she was attending an awards show in Ahmedabad. The actress said this was a fake event.

She told her fans to double check before landing up at the venue. Shilpa Shetty informed people to check if they made payments assuming that she would be attending as a chief celebrity. She is the not the first one whose name is being used for such hoax. Many others too have fallen prey to this.

Raj Kundra summoned by EOW in fraud case

The Bollywood diva was in the news after a businessman filed a case on Raj Kundra and her. The businessman has been summoned by the Economic Offences Wing for fraud of Rs 60 crores. The department has also put a ban on Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra from travelling abroad for a few days. It seems he was summoned earlier but asked for a few days to make his appearance Raj Kundra made his debut as an actor in the Punjabi film industry with Mehar.
