Sharmila Tagore confesses to being nervous in a conversation with Manoj Bajpayee: Video

The first-look poster of the upcoming film Gulmohar was unveiled by Disney+ Hotstar on February 8. The film is set to release on March 3, 2023. A multi-generational family drama set in Delhi, Gulmohar boasts a star-studded cast including the veteran actress Sharmila Tagor. The film marks her digital debut. It also features Manoj Bajpayee, Amol Palekar, Suraj Sharma and Simran. For the unversed the film marks Sharmila ji's return into films after 12 years.

Talking of which Manoj Bajpayee took to his Instagaram account and shared a video of himself as he got into a conversation with Sharmila Tagore from the green room.

He greets the veteran actress and says, "Sharmila ji hello, kaisa lag raha hai aapko 12 saal k baad wapas aake?" To which the actress said, "12 saal k baad disney plus hotstar pe I am feeling a little nervous." While the Satya actor quips, "Sharmila Tagore ji is nervous, aapko pata hai apka fan page evergrowing, evergreen hai. Aap Anupama ho the legend, the og Sharmila Tagore". 

In the end of the video Sharmila ji replied, "legend vegend nahi malum iss film mai apki maa ka kirdar nibhaya hai thodi bohot acting mujhe bhi aati hai". To which both of them laughs out hilariously.

Talking about the film Sharmila Tagore had said that Gulmohar is a household story that is relatable to all. It is a balance between tradition and modernity and how families can bridge that gap with love and warmth. And she is really looking forward to it being released on Disney+ Hotstar and to see the audience's reaction.

On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee will be seen in the Netflix film Soup, which also stars Konkona Sensharma. He will return for The Family Man Season 3. While Sharmila Tagore was last seen in Break Ke Baad, starring Deepika Padukone and Imran Khan in 2010.
