Shalini Kapoor joins Fahmaan Khan's upcoming show

Star Plus is gearing up for an exciting new show, and the buzz is already building. The creators of the hit show Jhanak are set to introduce a fresh series featuring Imlie star Fahmaan Khan and Udaariyaan actress Sonakshi Batra. The latest development is that Shalini Kapoor has been cast in a pivotal role in this upcoming project.

Shalini Kapoor will portray Fahmaan's mother in the show. According to reports, her character will be reminiscent of her role in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, adding a familiar touch for fans.

Shalini is a well-known actress in the television industry, with notable performances in popular shows like Qubool Hai, Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev, Jai Maa Durga, Swaragini: Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum.

The new show is based on Star Jalsha's highly acclaimed Ichhe Node. Originally starring Vikram Chatterjee and Solanki Roy, the series was written by Leena Gangopadhyay and produced by Saibal Banerjee under the Magic Moments Motion Pictures banner. The story revolves around two sisters who fall in love with the same man. The elder sister is intelligent and confident, while the younger one, who looks up to her, is more reserved and musically inclined. However, the older sister harbours resentment toward her sibling, partly because she knows the younger one is adopted. As the plot unfolds, the elder sister falls for a boy who, in turn, falls for the gentle younger sister, creating a love triangle filled with drama, twists, and turns.
