Shahbaz Khan in & TV's 'Jai Santoshi Maa'.

& TV ‘s 'Jai Santoshi Maa', which is produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms has been grabbing quite a few eyeballs lately, as the show has roped in some of the popular faces of Television.

Ayaz Ahmed who was last seen on cult youth show 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan' will play main lead opposite Ratan Rajpoot. Ayaz will be seen playing the role of a small-town guy, who falls for Ratan, who is an ardent devotee of Goddess Santoshi Maa. Actress Gracy Singh of Lagaan fame will play the role of the goddess. It also features Juhi Parmar Shroff , Smriti Khanna (Ritika of Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi) and Sachin Shroff in main roles. The latest name added to the list is Shahbaz Khan.

We hear Shahbaz Khan will be playing a grey character with a combination of contemporary and a traditional blend. He will be playing elder brother of Ayaz Khan. We contacted Shahbaz who confirmed the news , “ Yes, I am happy to be associated to the show. The character I am playing is very powerful. My character's  name is Pratap and I cant reveal more about the role as of now, but it is an important character.”

Shahbaz will soon start his shoot and the show will be telecast on & TV from end of November.
