Seema Sajdeh has got a lot of praise for her candour in Fabulous Lives Vs Bollywood Wives. The lady separated from Sohail Khan some years back. She is now in a relationship with her former fiancé, Vikram Ahuja. They had been dating before she wedded Sohail Khan after a quick romance. In a recent interview, she said that she wants to be honest with her sons, Nirvaan and Yohan. Seema Sajdeh said that she does not want to be insensitive as she has to think about her two children. Seema said that Yohan is still a school-going child while Nirvaan is going to embark on a career. She was quoted as saying, “I never want to be that person who affects them in that way. So, whenever these conversations happen, they are very organic, and real.”
The fashion designer said her elder son Nirvaan is as unfiltered as her. She also said that he is the bridge between Yohan and her. Seema was quoted as saying, “Half of the time, I don’t know what he is going to reply to me or in which direction the conversation will go. That (divorce) was the topic of the hour because we were discussing it and I was moving back and why I decided to move.” She also said that in many homes kids treat mothers like a punching bag. They can vent out all their feelings in front of her. Seema Sajdeh said, “Sometimes to get through to Yohan, Nirvaan steps in his shoes and explains to me his point of view.”
Seema Sajdeh said she always advocated for a strong, transparent and open relationship with her children. She said she told them that mutual understanding matters when it comes to conflicts. Seema Sajdeh said she does not lie to Yohan. She was quoted as saying, “Even though Yohan is young, I don’t lie to him, because I think there is so much information out there, he should never think that my mother lied to me.” She said no matter how disturbing the truth might be, she would prefer that they know the real deal. She said she will feel happy if she knows her kids are confident that their mumma did not lie to them.
