Sara Tendulkar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Siraj raise their voice for Moumita Debnath's justice campaign

The whole of India is angered, shocked and saddened at the horrific death of Dr Moumita Debnath. In a shocking case, which is brutal and tragic beyond belief, the young promising doctor was murdered and then sexually assaulted in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Moumita Debnath was resting in the seminar room of the college after a 36 hours shift. The lady was found dead after hours. It seems her parents were initially told that it was a suicide. Later, when they saw the mutilated body of their daughter they were shocked beyond belief. Celebrities have asked for swift justice for the deceased. 

Now, cricketers too are seeking justice for Moumita Debnath. Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal have shared a collage that has reasons why women get raped, and why it is only a woman’s fault. It reads, “What is your excuse this time or is it still her fault because men will be men right? Sara Tendulkar also shared the reel of journalist Faye D’Souza who is talking about the incident. While none of India’s top players have spoken up, these cricketers believe that justice must be meted out fast. Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Richa Chadha are the female celebs who have asked for speedy justice for Moumita Debnath.

The CM of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee has said that the State Police has deployed every resource to nab the perpetrators from investigative teams to sniffer dogs. She also led a rally demanding death penalty for the accused. Around 25 people from the hospital have been called for questioning as per reports. This includes the Head of Department of Chest from RG Kar Medical College. The name of principal Sandip Ghosh has also come up in a big way. An audio clip talking about a nexus involving sex and drugs is also going viral. It seems they were dealing in adulterated medicines which earned them in crores. No one knows the truth so far. It seems Moumita Debnath had threatened to expose the truth which led to her death. It seems they were not accepting her thesis.
